Classic southern soul including "I don't wanna lose you" that has a spoken intro used in hip hop. Cover has a slightly larger-than-average corner cut (not on photo), hence VG grade. Early 2nd issue with brown fingersnap logo and 98 N Avalon address.

Danish 2nd issue with SteepleChase Records printed on one line on labels, but released same year as the first issue.
US mono pressing, BLP 1533 with blue/white United Artists labels = later pressing from early 70s. Record has a lightly feelable scratch in the beginning of side 1 but I can't hear more than a few light ticks, just surface marks apart from that and plays very well in general. Cover has a distribution sticker on back + corner cut lower right. His first Blue Note album, recorded in 1956 together with Wynton Kelly, Max Roach and Curly Russell. Listen to "Chicago Calling".

1975 album with the great original version of "I don't want to be a lone ranger" and lovely mellow soul on "It's way too late". Vinyl in nice shape. Cover has ring wear and a little scratching/small tearing on back. No cutout, unlike photo. US original.
Superb jazz/fusion/funk album. Check the club favorites "Shifting gears" and "Los conquistadores chocolates", but the whole LP is consistent. Record has quite much surface scuffs at side A but plays fine. Cover has heavy ring wear and is complete split at upper seam plus tiny split at lower seam. US original with original label inner sleeve.
"Higher Ground" in a funky jazz version on this '74 album. Cover on this copy has some ring wear and cut out hole (unlike website photo). US original with van gelder in dead wax.

"Watts breakaway" massive breakbeat tune with fat drums. Record has lots of marks and light scratches. "Watts breakaway" plays well, but other tunes have low-level crackle. Cover has some rub wear and big splits on bottom edge (repaired with tape). US original.
UK pressing from 1969 of "The Johnny Otis Show" LP from 1958. Cover has lamination creasing/lifting, two bent corners, sticker residue on front.

"Dipping" and "Dirkie" great funky fusion tunes on scarce album from 1982. Reissue. Brand new copy from the distributor but with minor transport damage (beginning of a split) on top seam center.
Superb album and one of the true holy grails of European jazz. Listen to the version of McCoy Tyner's "Aisha" and the Coltrane-ish "Yogiana" but the whole album is great. LP in great shape but has one small but deep scratch at "Aisha" that clicks a few times. Deleted reissue of ultra rare German original, great sound and beautifully packaged in tri-fold cover (just as the original). Single LP but postage as for two records due to heavy tri-fold cover.
