"I Do Believe" - fine folky tune. Cover has drill hole. US original, with lyrics insert.
US mono pressing, BLP 4077 with New York USA-labels = early 2nd pressing (of 47 West 63rd NYC original). RVG and ear in dead wax. Nice and clean record, but has one scratch at B1 not affecting play. The laminated cover has small bent corner and a few stains on back - looks nice overall. Quality 1961 Blue Note set with Freddie Hubbard, Horace Parlan, George Tucker and Al Harewood. Listen to the great "It's You Or No One".
US mono original, BLP 4112 with New York USA-labels. Van Gelder and ear in dead wax. Record is a nice with few and light marks only, still shiny and black and plays very loud and clear! The laminated cover looks very nice on front but has one tiny discoloration dot upper left corner. Seams and spine are fine but upper seam towards the left side 2-3 cm split. Backside cover has tipex white dots at white areas around the song titles. One tiny paper loss upper left corner on back as well. Still a very nice copy. 60s jazz with Sonny Clark, Butch Warren & Billy Higgins. "Cheese cake" and the version of "Love for sale" are great!
US picture cover 45 from 1952, Savoy XP 8080. Features 4 tracks recorded mid 40s, listen to "Dexter's Mood". Tiny scratch causes a handful of clicks on A1, rest looks ok, plays with slight surface noise/hiss from pressing. Cover looks ok on front, grades VG due to 2/3 split on bottom seam plus sessions details written on back. US original.
