Superb jazz classic from 1961 with Duke Pearson, Pepper Adams, Lex Humphries and Laymon Jackson. My favourite is "My Girl Shirl". French DMM reissue from 1986. This copy is in shrink.
US mono original, BLP 4026 with 47 West 63rd NYC address on both labels. Deep groove, RVG and ear on both sides. 43 West 61st St address on cover. Record has a few small feelable scratches on side 1 causing occassional clicks, also some soft sleeve marks but rest plays ok with minor disctractions only. Cover looks ok on front with just minor wear to opening side, grades VG due to a fairly discrete stain mark plus small initials written on back. Really strong Blue Note set featuring Jackie McLean and Duke Pearson - listen to the stunning "Fuego" and "Lament"!

Scarce soul/r&b, listen to "Have I sinned" or "What can I do". Essentially the same LP as "The sensational Donnie Elbert sings" but with a couple of tunes exchanged. Vinyl is clean. Cover has 7 cm split on top seam and 8+6 cm splits on bottom (all neatly repaired with tape). Also a little rub wear and a tiny pen mark on front.

Great album from 1971 from our favourite Night Tripper, wiith that unique sound of his. My pick for today is "Zu Zu Mamou". Record has some light marks, plays well. Cover has very little wear, small top split back part of gatefold. US original, with lyrics inner sleeve in fine shape.
Great album from our man Kool Keith - "Blue Flowers", "Bear Witness", "Earth People" and loads more hits. Records are VG+ to EX with some light sleeve marks across the 6 sides. Cover has light wear and creasing, nothing too bad. UK original.

Trio LP recorded in 1962 with Charles Mingus and Max Roach. Listen to the stunningly beautiful "Le Fleurs Africaines" and the wild "Money Jungle". Reissue from 2021, includes bonus tracks and a CD.
US stereo pressing, AS-30 with orange/black ABC-Paramount Inc label, Van Gelder in dead wax. Early but later pressing released same year, 1963 as the Am-Par original. Record has pretty much sleeve scuffs but not to bad and it plays fine. The glossy foldout cover has minor lamination peeling on front. Wonderful soft jazz LP including the stunning version of "In A Sentimental Mood" and "Take The Coltrane".
