Plenty of marks and lines on record, plays with background noise and occasional clicks but still better than it looks. Cover looks on front, backside cover has paper loss, writings, small stamp and is a bit dirty looking. Both seams has splits about 10 cm. Spins is ok. Superb jazz classic from 1961 with Duke Pearson, Pepper Adams, Lex Humphries and Laymon Jackson. My favourite is "My Girl Shirl".

This first issue was only pressed in a couple of hundred copies. Listen to "Anthropology". Record has some surface marks and is a bit fluttery from manufacture, plays decent with some surface hiss and a little background crackle (it's not the very best recording or pressing to begin with). Laminated cover has some creasing, lamination peeling and edge wear.

US mono issue, BLP 4076 with New York USA-labels. RVG and ear in dead wax. No deep groove=early 2nd issue from 1962 of 1961 original. Record has scuffs and storage marks, nothing serious and plays well. Cover has old sticker front, upper left corner. Minor paper loss towards the opening on front. Backside cover has three small stains. 1 cm split at the lower seam otherwise spine and seams are fine. LP featuring Blue Mitchell, Junior Cook, Gene Taylor & Roy Brooks. Contains the great "The Gringo"!
