1972 album with a mix of fusion and free jazz, featuring Charlie Haden, Paul Motian & Dewey Redman. MODERN JAZZ QUARTET / MILT JACKSON QUINTET - PRLP 7059:
US mono original, PRLP 7059 with yellow/black labels, 446 W. 50th ST. NYC-address, deep groove on both sides and RVG in dead wax. Record has one long, lightly feelable scratch line on side B but I can't hear more than a few light ticks. Apart from that just some surface marks and plays alright. Cover looks ok on front, has some rubbing, mild staining along spine and a fairly small tear on back. Two classic jazz outfits on a mid 50s album including a version of "Buhaina".

Plenty of marks on record, plays well with some background hiss from pressing and occasional ticks. Cover looks decent at front and back but has tears from removed tape to the left (not on photo). 1964 session with the classic quartet, originally recorded (at Van Gelder Studio) for a Canadian movie but never released at the time. Contains takes on classic tracks from the Coltrane-repertoire including "Naima", "Out of this world" (here called "Blue world") and "Village blues". Essential stuff for any Coltrane fan. NO shrink or hype sticker on this copy.
