"I can't get next to you" great funky soul from Norman Whitfield, plus versions of "It's your thing" and "Since I've lost you". Cover has a tiny drill hole. US stereo original with wedge label.
Angry poetry stuff from 1973. A major inspiration for a lot of the early hip hop MC's. Cover has edge wear and some ring wear (a bit more than photo). US original with white labels. Red heart and 5 on spine.
Hip hop masterpiece with raw, funky hip hop bombs as "Props over here", "Get funky" and "Hit me with that". Reissue with black labels and small R logo in box.

"Try it you'll like it" and "I'm gonna stay" superb 70s soul from this fantastic artist. Cover has a sawcut and a little light wear. US original.
Great 60s album from this consistent group. Top notch soul on the sweet "I call it love" and the northern mover "All I need is your love". LP has LOTS and LOTS of wear and scratches, affecting play with mild but constant background noise. Cover has ring wear front and back plus small split on top seam. Rare US stereo original.
Compilation packed with edits of funky Indian-influenced tracks including Klaus Doldinger's heavy "Sitar beat", Dave Pike's "Mathar" & Gainsbourg/Colombier's massive breakbeat cut "Psychastenie". Some minor marks, plays fine. Comes in stickered sleeve.

Instant Miami modern soul dancer! Record in excellent condition, just a slight warp not affecting playback or tracking. Small pen marks on labels. US original.

Premier-produced killer that was the vocal source for Red Astaire's "Ghetto hell". US original, promo copy in picture sleeve (with very minor corner bumping).

5x10" box set from 1999 including the classic "At Les" and a great version of "People make the world go round". Solid copy, between VG+ and EX. Includes calendar booklet and individual inner sleeves. Listed on the site as a 12" box set since we can't list 10" box sets due to a tech problem!
Compilation from 2000 with Sarah Vaughn's "Mystery of man", Jill Scott's "Slowly surely" and Horace Silver's "Mamma suite" among others. 2 LPs are VG+ or EX. One LP has some more marks but still plays well. Track A1 has a light scratch that I can't hear affecting play.
"Mi Vida" very nice Brazilian-tinted soul! Some sleeve marks and lines on record, plays ok with minor distractions only. Cover has some wear top left corner and top part of spine plus mild ring wear. US original, with printed inner sleeve (with edge splits).

Rare Swedish only EP from 1956 with Freddie Redd, Tommy Potter and Joe Harris. Contains "Russ and Arlene" on side 1 b/w a 4 ballad medley on side 2 ("Summertime", "Darn that dream", "Embraceable you" and "Tenderly"). Light marks on record, plays with some surface noise but not too bad. Pic sleeve show mild aging and minor wear lower right corner. Swedish original, MEP 247.
Live set featuring Blue Mitchell, Junior Cook, Gene Taylor & Roy Brooks. Contains the great "The Gringo"! 180 gram reissue from 2019.

Ornette, Izenzon and Moffett recorded in Paris 1966 for the soundtrack of the film 'Who's Crazy?'. Listen to "January". Clean record, cover is lightly wavy. French original from 1979 (made in the UK).
Allen Toussaint-produced New Orleans funk/rock album from 1974. Check "R u 4 real" and "Can't git enuff". US original.
LP from 1977 with solid funk on the break-y "Thump and bump", "Get down with the feeling" and "Brain strain". Cover has some wear and a small drill hole (but no cut corner, unlike photo).
Electro/boogie/funk/hip hop from the influential Celluloid label. Includes much-loved tracks from Material, Timezone, Manu Dibango, Last Poets, Futura 2000 feat. The Clash etc. Cover in shrink with hype sticker, just a small corner bump.
Live recording with Roland Kirk, Charles McPherson and Hamiet Bluiett. Two long tracks, check "C jam blues". Fine VG+ copy, no major issues at all. US original with red/green labels and 75 Rockefeller address, no WEA logo.
Nice progressive jazz/folk/fusion album from 1974. Check the dreamy "Icing". Cover shows minor wear and lamination peeling around edges plus slight yellowing. German original.
Killer funk/soul/funky jazz tunes with drum breaks like Anthony King's "Filigree funk" & Intimate Strangers' "Love Sounds"! A few surface marks, plays fine except for a tiny mark causing a small number of clicks on A2.

US mono pressing, PRLP 7168 with yellow/black labels, Bergenfield-address, deep groove on both sides and RVG in dead wax = later but still early pressing of album first released as "Miles Davis And Horns" (PRLP 7025). Light marks and scuffs on record, plays with a little background crackle but not too bad. Cover has 12 + 2 cm split on bottom seam, 4 cm split on top seam right, some edge wear, old shop sticker on back. 1951-1953 recordings with Sonny Rollins, Zoot Sims, John Lewis and Al Cohn. Listen to "For Adults Only".
