1969 giallo soundtrack by Riz Ortolani, containing variations on two different themes - listen to "Why (Strumentale N.1)", "Cosi Dolce... Cosi Perversa (Soft Swing)" and "Cosi Dolce... Cosi Perversa (Shake N. 1)". Well-made 2025 reissue (of material first released in 2001). Limited release, remastered from the original tapes.
Early 2nd US stereo pressing, PRST 7382 with blue/silver labels and trident on top. Van Gelder in dead wax. Cover has 12 cm split top seam right, 8 + 2 cm split bottom seam right, sticker remains on back. Album from 1966 with previously unreleased live and studio performances, check the powerful "Status Seeking".
First Japanese pressing, RANK-5012 with blue deep groove labels and flipback cover, released just a few years after the US original. No insert or obi. Small scratch mark causes a handful of pops in the intro of B1. Also many soft marks and scuffs, plays ok in general with minor distractions only. Cover in nice shape with light wear only. LP from 1957, top line-up featuring Milt Jackson, Horace Silver, Kenny Clarke, Sonny Rollins etc. Check "Bags Groove (take 1)".

"Tahiti" is my favorite.

Much-loved r&b album from 1996, including the title track, "Choosey Lover" etc. Reissue.
One of her best albums, including the excellent "Tereza Sabe Sambar" and a great version of "Roda". Plenty of marks and scuffing on record, plays with mild background noise/crackle but not too bad, still enjoyable. Sandwich cover has clear tape on top and bottom seam plus mild staining on back. Brazilian mono original.

Experimental sound art on a dubplate 7" on Magnus very own Öhr Research imprint. Released in the very limited run of five copies. Transparent vinyl, plays single sided.
Ghanaian highlife with A.K. Yeboah & his band - nice listening through both sides with "Womma Menya Me Kyefa" and "Ankoben Nana" standing out for me. LOTS of marks and some scratches on record, still quite enjoyable with fairly mild background crackle and occassional ticks. Writing on both labels. Cover has heavy wear/aging, water damage (staining) on lower part, edge splits and small rips, writing front and back. Ghanaian original.
Scarce white label only Fab-release from '69 containing two tracks in the pop reggae-vein. Fine copy, glossy with few and light marks only. UK original.

Great debut LP after their well-received singles last year - a cosmic journey through tropical melodies, post-disco machine beats and jilted art-punk.
Raw garage rock from one of the best groups in that field! Reissue in company sleeve.
Another great Soul Jazz compilation, includes the Skatalites monster tune "Herb man dub" and John Holt's "I am the one to blame". A few surface marks on side 1, plays fine. Repress from 2000 with MPO in dead wax. Includes printed inners.
Funky organ jazz from 1971 featuring Idris Muhammad and Melvin Sparks. Contains the excellent "Message from the Meters". Record is VG+ to EX, nice copy. French original, PR 10011 with green labels.
As much as I love Yusef Lateef, this LP from 1974 sounds pretty damn awful - until you get to "Strange Lullaby"! Weird, meditative track with screechy noises and Yusef or someone else snoring in the background! "Gettin' Sentimental" is pretty nice too. Cover has some ring/edge wear, creasing plus minor price tag mark on front (not on website photo). US original, red/green labels with 75 Rockefeller Plaza-address.
One of my favorite 70s soul LPs! Every track is a Leroy Hutson-produced killer: "Count On Me", "What's Happening Here" and the list goes on. Cover has a tiny sawcut plus faint residue mark and minimal tear on front. Minor sticker on A-side label. US original.
LP from 1970 with a beautiful mellow sound, like a mix of Nick Drake and Dusty Springfield. Listen to "It's Not Likely" and "On A Misty Morning". Well-made reissue of very rare original. No shrink or hype sticker on this copy.
Eastern-flavored LP with influences from jazz and orchestral music. The Solar Plexus-backed "Ah ya sen" starts like a freaky hippie thing, but after a few minutes it develops into a moving funk/jazz tune. Record in fine shape. Cover is pretty strong VG with some shelf wear and creasing plus minor fraying on spine center. Swedish original with boxed NCB and record number 4E 062-34786 on labels.
"The New Breed" nice latin funk/boogaloo that sounds great in clubs. US mono original.
"East" awesome, deep funky soul tune with enormous atmosphere. Light marks and scuffs on record, not few but nothing deep and plays well. Cover has ring/rub wear, edge wear plus mild staining and small tear on back. US original.
4 sides of terrific Ethiopian 60s & 70s recordings from Alemayehu Eshete, Mulatu Astatke, Girma Beyene, Mahmoud Ahmed etc. Contains monster tunes as Eshete's "Tashamanaletch" and Wallias Band's "Muziqawi Silt".
Polish jazz from 1985 with a nuch of nice tunes including the a version of Komeda's "Rosemary's Baby", also check "Lonesome Dancer" and "Song For Ewa". Solid and well-playing VG+ record. Cover has a stain mark plus neat writing on back, in fine shape apart from that. Polish original.
