Record has a lightly feelable scratch in the beginning of side 1 but I can't hear more than a few light ticks, just surface marks apart from that and plays very well in general. Cover has a distribution sticker on back + corner cut lower right. His first Blue Note album, recorded in 1956 together with Wynton Kelly, Max Roach and Curly Russell. Listen to "Chicago Calling".

Album from 1956 with Lucky Thompson, Hank Jones and Kenny Clarke with Lucky stealing the show on the absolutely wonderful ballads "Angel Face" and "What's New".
