SAHIB SHIHAB - SUMMER DAWN:
US mono pressing, LP-742 with brown labels = early 2nd mono pressing. Record visually is between VG+ and EX but has some background noise inherent in pressing (audible between tracks and in soft parts) and a little crackle in beginning of "Lillemor", still enjoyable. Cover has mild shelf wear, paper rip on back, minor corner bumps plus a small drill hole. Lovely 60s jazz set including the beautiful "Lillemor" which I rate as Shihab's best track ever! "Please Don't Leave Me" is very nice too. Recorded in Germany in 1963 with Clarke-Boland and the usual suspects, but originally released in the US on Argo.
