UK 2nd pressing with large swirl label, but no "Philips Record Product" inside gatefold. Record has some light marks, nothing troublesome. Small stamp on label side B. Cover has light wear, neat writing + indentation mark on back. The first LP with "Elegy" - killer folky tune and "Butty's blues" - great jazz rock.
US 10", PRLP 182 with red/silver labels, 446 W. 50th ST. NYC-address, deep groove on both sides. RVG and ear in dead wax. This copy has green print on front cover and release listings up to PRLP 187 on back indicating second generation cover. Just a few light marks and mild paleness on record, plays alright. Cover has full split + some tape remains on spine and almost full split on top seam. Recorded in 1954 with Horace Silver, Jay Jay Johnson, Percy Heath, Kenny Clarke & Lucky Thompson. Great garage/psych album from 1967, after Van Morrison left and a change of name. Some tracks produced by Kim Fowley, like the classic "People Let's Freak Out". My pick is the haunting "Suicide Song". Both record and cover are close to EX. Swedish 2nd pressing.
4-track EP from 1967 with the great Keith Moon-penned "I Need You". A few light marks on record, plays fine. Pic sleeve has light wear, slightly bent corner. French 2nd pressing with correct title.
US stereo pressing, AS-9131 with orange/black ABC-Paramount-label on side 1 and A Product of ABC Records-label on side 2 = early 2nd transitional pressing. Cover has slight wear to opening edge, a couple of small worn spots on top seam plus a tiny drill hole. Orchestral jazz album with versions of evergreens like "Over The Rainbow".
US mono pressing, BLP 1504 with 47 West 63rd NYC-address on labels (no "R") = early 2nd pressing. Deep groove on both sides, RVG and ear in dead wax. Plenty of minor marks and scuffs on record, plays quite well with mild background crackle only. Cover has edge wear, mild rub wear, sticker tear on front (filled out with black marker pen) plus faint marking around tracklisting on back. Classic LP with George Duvivier, Tommy Potter, Arthur Taylor and Roy Haynes. Listen to the beautiful version of "You Go To My Head" and "Ornithology".
Organ-driven jazz set including the groovy "Sister Lovie". LP looks unplayed. Beautiful copy in shrink (unlike photo), just a small sawcut. Early 2nd US press with green label.

Cover has ring/rub wear and creasing plus small writing on back. Finnish jazz from 1970 featuring Juhani Aaltonen and Esko Rosnell. Contains the vocal bossa jazz cut "Maailma Tulee Pienemmäksi Kun Kukat Kuihtuvat", definitely a standout tune!
UK later stereo pressing, no blue border on back of sleeve. Record in fine shape with a few light marks. Cover has small sticker on front, writing + old shop sticker on back.

FAIRYTALES
ODIN - Norway 2nd Pressing

Early 2nd Norwegian pressing with timings added at tracklisting and corrected song-writing credits on A5 on back cover. Small edge warp in vinyl, plays alright on our equipment. Cover shows light wear only. Mellow piano jazz with a gentle voice. Very pleasant LP for home listening - listen to "The Moon Is A Harsh Mistress".
Estonian folk songs done in the same easy/jazz vocal style as Novi Singers or Gimmicks. Listen to the laidback "Tutar Nufab Ema" plus "Uni Tule Silma Peale" is a lovely jazz/folk tune with great flute parts and weird vocals. Early 2nd USSR pressing from 1975, 33CM 02821-2 with blue labels, yellow back cover with "O".435 1975-print. Nice and clean copy!
1968 blues rock with Dave Edmunds heavy shredding. Two top tunes in "Blues helping" and their take on "Summertime". Great copy. UK early 2nd pressing, no KT tax code on labels.

A HARD ROAD / STEREO

UK 2nd stereo pressing from 1969 with unboxed Decca-logo on label, indicator hole on back cover. Record close to EX. Cover has some lamination lifting along spine, small writing on back. Classic blues rock from 1967 with Peter Green and Aynsley Dunbar. Listen to "A hard road" or ""Another kinda love".
Their debut album from 1991 with r&b/new jack swing hits like "Uhh Ahh" and "Motownphilly". Early 2nd European issue with different cover art, also including the radio smash "End of the road" that's not on the first version.

US stereo pressing, PRST 7455, purple labels with trident on top = early 2nd pressing. Van Gelder in dead wax. Record looks a little pale but plays well. Cover in top shape in shrink. From 1967 with Dexter Gordon and Jaki Byard. One long track on each side - listen to "Setting The Pace".
"The Ghetto 74" and "Ella Weez" great 70s soul! Cover has partial edge wear. Early 2nd US pressing with 810 7th Ave-address on labels, includes lyric insert.
Strata-East album from 1976 with musicians like Stanley Cowell, Billy Parker and Harold Vick. Listen to "Lynnsome" and "Grand max". Record looks more or less untouched but has some storage wear in the grooves. Cover in shrink. Early 2nd US press with blue labels.
US mono pressing, PRLP 7109 with yellow/black labels, Bergenfield-address = early 2nd US pressing. Deep groove on both sides and RVG in dead wax. Classic jazz LP from 1957. Plenty of marks and a few scratches on record, plays with light background crackle and occassional ticks, not too bad. Cover in nice VG+ shape with light wear, one minor corner bump plus neat stamp on back. Top line up with Milt Jackson, Horace Silver, Kenny Clarke, Sonny Rollins etc., listen to "Airegin".
UK early 2nd pressing, red/maroon labels with A3 as "The Lemon Song" and B2 as "Livin' Lovin' Maid (She's A Woman)" on both sleeve and labels. Mistyping of A4 "THANKYOU". Some crackle/noise start of A1 (listen in clip), otherwise it plays well. Cover has ring/edge wear and is a bit bubbly back part of gatefold. Classic rock album including "Whole lotta love".
US 2nd pressing, MS 7315, grey labels with yellow logos. CBS-stickers on labels. Cover has CBS-stickers front and back (not on website photo). Electronic minimalism classic from 1969.

UK 2nd pressing from 1967. Record in great shape. Previous owners name & phone number neatly etched in deadwax side A. Cover has some ringwear, minor lamination lifting along spine, minimal writing on back. Loud and wild gig recorded live at Klook's Kleek. Listen to "When I'm gone".
Scarce Danish jazz EP from 1958 featuring three tracks backed by Erik Moseholm and Ole Molin. Listen to "Trekanten". Light marks and scuffs, generally plays ok with mild background crackle except for a few passages of short but loud sizzling noise in the intro of side B. Pic sleeve has minor wear to edges plus basic wear and aging, nothing very bad. Early 2nd Danish pressing, MEP 1188 with white/green/purple labels (1st pressing has black labels).
Great jazz as usual when it comes to this superb musician. My favorite is "Bosna calling". With Tete Montoliu. Clean record. Cover has light ringwear, faint sticker mark on back. Spanish 2nd pressing.

Lovely Israeli psych/folk album from 1967. Listen to "Little Girl" and "Chocolate Soldier". Record has minor storage wear and a few light scuffs. Cover has some ringwear, faint scratch marks on front. Israeli 2nd pressing.
Classic funk on "Funky Worm" and "Walt's First trip", plus the superb sweet soul tune "Varee Is Love". US 2nd pressing, W-220 with blue labels and light blue/black Westbound logo on front cover.
Ayler recorded live in France 1970 doing versions of his classic "Spirits", "Spirits Rejoice" and more. No punch hole on cover on this copy (unlike website photo). Early 2nd French pressing with "D.R." but catalogue number 83 503 on labels.
2021 album by Gigi Masin, containing two sidelong ambient pieces inspired by the city of Venice. 2nd pressing from 2024.
Intense free jazz set from young Finnish/Norwegian trio, check "Shakti" and "Prelude". 2nd pressing limited to 300 hand-numbered copies, comes in beautiful screenprinted cover.

Absolutely lovely crossover soul b/w the killer funk tune "Getting the corners"! Highly recommended. Vinyl in nice shape, just a slight edge lift n.a.p. Drill hole through label. National release on Atlantic, a little after the first issue on Ovide. US original.
"Who Will Buy?" killer jazzy soul tune. Clean record, cover has ring wear, minor corner wear/bends plus a tiny sawcut (on top seam on this copy). US 2nd issue (from circa 1977) with black cover.
