LP recorded 1974 with "Remember Rockefeller at Attica" plus the mellow but almost epic "Duke Ellington's Sound Of Love". 2nd US pressing, red/green label with 75 Rockefeller Plaza-address and WEA-logo.
Live recorded blues rock from 1968. Listen to the version of "Summertime". Record is a wellplaying VG with light marks. UK 2nd pressing from 1969.
Top line-up with Doug Watkins, Art Taylor, Mal Waldron, Frank Wess and Johnny Hammond on organ. "Blue room" is my pick. US 2nd pressing, purple labels.

SOUNDING OUT THE CITY
TRUTH & SOUL - USA 2nd Pressing

Instrumental funk with a firmly soulful vibe. Consistent LP that works all the way through, "Detroit twice" & "Hung up on my baby" are my picks. 3rd US issue from 2008, red label version on Truth & Soul, first released in 2005 on Fastlife.
2nd US mono pressing, CL 1812 with 2 eye logo and "Guaranteed High Fidelity" in black print. Marks and lines on record, plays with minor background crackle, not too bad. Cover has some wear plus slight water damage on top part (mainly visible on back). Gil Evans-arranged LP recorded live in 1961 with Hank Mobley, featuring a great version of "So What".
His classic first album from 1988 and his best as I see it. Packed with Marley Marl-produced anthems as "Vapors", "Make the music with your mouth" and "Nobody beats the Biz". Quite a lot of surface marks but nothing deep, plays ok. US 2nd issue from 1995, CC 9001.
Celtic folk with a pleasant psych feeling from 1978. Listen to "Sguaban Arbhair" and "An Ros". Cover has minor staining + small sticker on back. UK 2nd pressing from 1981.
Lovely late-60s doublesider out of New Orleans, the A-side written by Joe Broussard & Wardell Quezergue. Early 2nd release after the New Sound issue.
