Obscure soul/boogie/fusion from 1987. The boogie dancer "Don't keep your love a secret" and the slow jam "Again and again" are my picks. Cover has some writing on front, otherwise ok. US original.
The Mancunian singer/songwriter's 3rd album on Matthew Halsall's Gondwana label - mellow folk/indie with subtle jazz backing by members of Halsall's band as well as label mates Mammal Hands, plus a touch of electronics. Listen to "Simple" and "Wandering Mind". Black vinyl edition.
Intense live recordings from 1980 & 1983, with a fine track selection. Record has minor haziness side A not affecting play. Unofficial release.
Top notch cool jazz with Don Ferrara, Sal Mosca, Peter Ind and Shadow Wilson. Wonderful listening from start to finish, start with the opening track "Sunflower". Japanese reissue from 1991, MGV-8209. With insert but no obi.
Long Beach-rapper Adonis and producer VHS on a 2019 outing, check "La Promesa/Pecador". Just some light sleeve marks on record, plays alright. Cover in fine shape. US original, red/green vinyl version limited to 50 copies (of a total of 150 copies).

Very strong album by Finnish saxophonist Markus Holkko, recorded in 2023. Features 8 original tracks all composed and arranged by Holkko, listen to the spiritual "Eye Of The Universe (is blinking)", "Waltzing" and the jazz dance track "Funky Ranking"!
2LP compilation from 1982 with both classic punk and experimental stuff, listen to the great moody "The Survivor" with St. Vitus Dancers. Records in great shape. Poster sleeve has light general wear. UK original.
Downtempo/ambient/industrial from one part of Pittsburgh-duo Zombi. Listen to the title track.
LP from 1958 with Hank Jones and Elvin Jones. Listen to "Like...What Is This?". Japanese reissue from 1991, KIJJ-2043 with obi and insert.
"Westchester Lady" classic sample source to many 90s hip hop tunes, and a great track in its own right! Cover has some humidity spotting inside gatefold. Japanese original from 1976, GP-3060. No obi on this copy (unlike photo), but includes insert.
Sweet neofolk/indie from 2013, listen to "The Burning Of The Temple, 2012". Record 1 has a couple of light marks not affecting play. Record 2 is clean. Cover in great shape. European original.

"For The Love Of It" nice mixture of funky jazz and disco. "Babbitt's Other Song" is another cool track that echoes of Rinder & Lewis. Reissue.
Solo project by this member of Esa's Afro-Synth Band, balearic tropicalia with some psychedelic touches, over sampled beats with soulful yet sombre vocals. Listen to "Difficulties" and "Ooo, I". Black vinyl issue.
Scarce funk LP with the cool "Malcolm X". Side 1 has a hairline mark across the whole side that I can't hear affecting play at all. Low VG+ vinyl due to this, but plays well. Cover has ring wear, 6 cm split on top seam (repaired with tape), punch hole, shop sticker on front & back. US original.
UK stereo original with orange/black label, cover made in USA. Record has lots of light scuffs/marks, plays pretty well with some soft background noise and light clicks here and there. Tiny writing on labels. Cover has some corner/ring wear. Great album with "She comes in colors", "Seven & Seven Is" plus the monster "Revelation" covering the entire side 2.

1985 compilation from New Zealand with alternative rock. Best for me is the moody "Fish" by The Clean. Cover has cornerwear, two stickers on front. New Zealand original.
2024 album by the Finnish keyboard legend, sure to please fans of his classic jazz-funk/fusion album "The Poet". Check "Mirror Mirror" and "Rhythm and Rhymes".
Finnish quartet with a cello, violin, reeds and drums setting - the label calls it "avantgarde chamber jazz". Listen to "Twenty Twenty" and "Water".
US original, V6/8762 with black/silver T logo labels. Record has a few marks and lines, plays ok save for some light occassional ticks. Cover has basic shelf wear, mild water damage (staninig) lower left corner plus "Grammy"-sticker on front. Live recording from 1968 with Eddie Gomez and Jack DeJohnette, including versions of "Sleepin' Bee" and "Nardis".
Great compilation with snotty garage rock and psych including Litter, Chocolate Watchband, Music Machine etc. Listen to "Grey Zone" with Fog.

Soulful fusion LP produced by Larry Mizell with the killer "New York Times" that was used on an early Ballistic Brothers release. LP has a few cluster marks causing minor crackle on B3, plays well in general. Cover has a cut corner, partial staining, 4 cm split and tape repair on top seam, 3 cm split and small tear on bottom. US original, blue labels with black B.
Debut album by indie/dream pop trio with members from Mazarine Street etc. Echoes of the 1990s with a fresh sound! Listen to "Seeing double".

Another great Soul Jazz compilation, includes the Skatalites monster tune "Herb man dub" and John Holt's "I am the one to blame". A few surface marks on side 1, plays fine. Repress from 2000 with MPO in dead wax. Includes printed inners.
Soul/funk LP from 1976 with the all-time rare groove favorite "Talking about love" and a great version of Donny Hathaway's "Love, love, love"! Reissue from 2022.
Four LPs packed with tunes from Mos Def, OC, Mike Zoot, Talib Kweli etc. Check "Body rock" from Mos Def. Vinyl has minor marks, nothing serious, plays well. Cover has some corner wear. US original with printed inner sleeves.

Erick Sermon-produced LP from 1996 with great tunes like "The Rhyme" & "Rhymin' wit Kel". VInyl has minor marks, plays well. Cover has a little ring wear and edge wear. US original.
Reggae versions of more or less famous soul tunes. High quality overall, two of my favorites are Senior Soul's version of Syl Johnson's anthem "Is it because I'm black" and Heptones "I'll be around". Includes printed inners.
4 sides of terrific Ethiopian 60s & 70s recordings from Alemayehu Eshete, Mulatu Astatke, Girma Beyene, Mahmoud Ahmed etc. Contains monster tunes as Eshete's "Tashamanaletch" and Wallias Band's "Muziqawi Silt".
Mulatu in 2010, sounds like a cross between the Ethiopian Quintet and "Mulatu Of Ethiopia" LPs. From deep, mellow jazz to latin style cuts to funkier numbers. Check the version of "I Faram Gami I Faram", "Ethio Blues" and "Mulatu's Mood".
Polish jazz from 1985 with a nuch of nice tunes including the a version of Komeda's "Rosemary's Baby", also check "Lonesome Dancer" and "Song For Ewa". Solid and well-playing VG+ record. Cover has a stain mark plus neat writing on back, in fine shape apart from that. Polish original.
Huge hip hop album from 1995 with "MC's act like they don't know", "Rappaz r.n. dainja" etc. A couple of lightly feelable scratches cause a bit of clicking on C2, apart from that just sleeve marks and scuffs, plays alright. Cover in shrink with hype sticker. US original with SRC stamp in dead wax.
