Another deep dive into Malinese music by the Bongo-crew, ranging from the raw afro funk of Les Ambassadeurs Du Motel de Bamako's "Get Up James" to the swirling, hypnotic sounds of Tentemba Jazz Du Mali on "Yayoroba" and Mystère Jazz de Tombouctou on "Sidi Yahia". Excellent stuff. Very lightly used copy, no shrink or sticker on cover (unlike photo). Includes booklet.

LP from 1973 with lovely vocal bossa on "Eu vim da bahia". Record as some surface scuffs and marks, plays rather fine, close to VG+. Cover has ring wear on front and price sticker on back. French later pressing from late 70's or early 80's of original from 1973. Red label, 2480 211.
"Roda mundo" and "Eu sou mais eu" lovely, clubby Brazilian 70's tunes. Reissue from 1999, with insert.
"I don't know what it is, but it sure is funky" and "A funky song" classic party funk tunes, plus my favorite, the rare groover "Be my friend"! Vinyl has a minor storage warp n.a.p. US original.
Their best and most wanted album due to the psychedelic funk/soul masterpiece "I am the black gold of the sun" and the epic "Song for everyman". Reissue.
US original, PRST 7610. Record has some storage wear, plays fine. Cover in shrink with light cornerwear. 1968 session with Bob Cranshaw, Eddie Green & Alan Dawson featuring a groovy soul jazz version of "Eleanor Rigby".

Another strong Fela album, this one from 1977. Check the title track to get the idea. Reissue.
Their classic debut LP from 1989 including "Me myself and I" and "Plug tunin". Vinyl is low VG-, lots of surface marks and light scratches, plays with frequent but pretty light background crackle, still enjoyable to hear. Minor sticker on front (not in photo). Scandinavian original (pressed in Germany for the Scandinavian market).
Indie hip hop LP from 2001, check "Like Today". Some sleeve marks on records, plays with mild surface noise in the beginning of side 1, not very bad. Cover has a light crease lower right. US original.
Big LP from 2000 including "Ms. Jackson" & "So fresh, so clean". Later US pressing, black vinyl. The hype sticker is a bit damaged on this copy. Includes insert.
Classic album from 1995 including "Real hip hop" and "Microphone master". 180 gram reissue from 2019, black vinyl version, with insert.
Amazing Lee Perry-produced album. "Fisherman" & "Congoman" are my favorites, but it's pure class from start to end. Deluxe reissue with a second LP featuring "the best of the rest": 11 tracks from the "Congo Ashanti", "Image Of Africa", "Face The music" and "Revival" sessions. Cover has a small corner bump.
Great jazz as usual when it comes to this superb musician. My favorite is "Bosna calling". With Tete Montoliu. Clean record. Cover has light ringwear, faint sticker mark on back. Spanish 2nd pressing.
"Let the drums speak" massive breakbeat classic. "Yum yum" tough funk tune plus the laidback "Feed me your love" is nice too. LP is VG+ to EX. Cover has a creased corner. German original, this is the issue with non-laminated sleeve.
LP from 1980 with Steve Reid and Wilbur Morris - tough jazz sound on the verge of free jazz. Listen to "Friday The Thirteenth". Clean record, cover has sealing sticker at opening front and back. UK original.
One of my favourite 70s soul LPs! Every track is a Leroy Hutson-produced killer. "Love's so wonderful", "Count on me", "What's happening here" and the list goes on. Cover in shrink with a tiny sawcut. US original.
Avantgarde LP from 1971 featuring Kevin Ayers, Robert Wyatt, Burton Greene, Jasper Van't Hof a.o., listen to "Deviation Dance". Clean records, cover has minor wear/aging plus 3 cm split on bottom seam center (front part of gatefold). US original.
"Get on down" great funk/disco tune. Also the funky "Right on" and a version of "Watermelon man". Record has some marks and a few small, lightly feelable scratch marks, plays with odd light ticks and some occasional crackle (mainly in the intro of side 1). Cover shows light wear only. US original.
1970 rock album with Neil Innes. Check "9-5 pollution blues" and don't miss the monster drum break in "Godzilla's Return". Cover has ring/rub/edge wear, sticker mark on back. UK original.
