PIERO UMILIANI - TO-DAY'S SOUND:
One of the most wanted LPs on Piero Umiliani's Liuto-label, featuring great musicians like Oscar Valdambrini, Giovanni Tommaso and Umiliani himself. As the cover and subtitle promises the music varies in styles from the funky "Open space" (those drums!) to the sparse jazz setting of "Free dimension" (that piano!). Vinyl has some light marks and a small mark on D5, only causing a few clicks. Reissue in gatefold sleeve, including poster.

ROBERTO MUSCI - TOWER OF SILENCE:
Superb compilation of hard to describe music from the 80s by Italian sound designer, composer, musician Roberto Musci. A very creative blend of field recordings, synthesizers and esoteric instruments make for a small slice of spiritual heaven. Listen to "Improbably music" or "Nexus on the beach".

SUN RA - JAZZ BY SUN RA VOL 1:
Really beautiful stuff and not at all as out-there as some of his 60s and 70s material. "Call For All Demons" is great, really a special track, but the rest of the album is very nice listening too. Beautiful high quality reissue complete with booklet. Single LP but postage as for two records due to the thick cover.

SUN RA & THE ARKESTRA - JAZZ BY SUN RA VOL. 2:
LP featuring John Gilmore, Charles Davis, Pat Patrick a.o, recorded in 1957. I really, really like this record - it's weird but accessible and lasts through many listens. Listen to "Overtones Of China". Luxurious high quality reissue complete with booklet. Single LP bue due to the thick cover postage will be as for two records.

TED CURSON - PLENTY OF HORN:
Very rare 1961 album including the wonderful "Nosruc Waltz". More or less the whole LP is actually really strong and comes recommended. Cover has some mild humidity spotting on back. Japanese reissue from 1975, YQ 7501 AX, with insert but no obi.

WEBSTER LEWIS - LIVE AT CLUB 7:
True holy grail of European rare groove records, here on 4xLP box set containing the original 1972 double LP (for the first time reissued in its entirety) plus the material from the 2007 release "The Club 7 Live Tapes" (with recordings from the same two nights as the original LP). Includes the funk jazz monster "Do You Believe" with hard drums and a great organ sound! Rest moves between more groove-orientated stuff as the version of "It's Your Thing" and deeper, spiritual parts as on "Space Rock" and "Saturday Night Evening".
