Odd realese with one sided vinyl in dreamy sound picture. I like especially the first "Unititled". This is the first vinyl release from 2024 but came out as a cassette in 2016. Swedish original complete with paste on photo at cover, insert and note of the pressing.

THELONIOUS MONK - THELONIOUS HIMSELF:
US mono 2nd pressing from 1957 same year as first issue, small blue label with mic & reel logo, deep groove both sides and no "Inc" at the Bill Grauer productions text at label. Record number RLP 12-235. Record in fine shape with light lines only, minor background noise due to the mellow music, slightly more at B2. Cover looks fine front and back but upper seam is completely split, hence VG- grade. Lower seam and spine are worn but intact. Solo piano LP from 1957 including versions of "April in Paris" and "Ghost of a chance".

Massive 11-LP box set. Records are between EX and VG+. Outer box has light shelfwear, two splits. Including book in fine shape.

LEE MORGAN - VOLUME 2 / BLP 1541:
Album from 1956 with a sextet featuring Hank Mobley, Horace Silver, Paul Chambers etc. Listen to "Latin Hangover" and "D's Fink". Cover has tiny writing and neat pen marks/underlining on back. Japanese reissue from 1979, GXK 8134(M), no insert or obi.

Record in fine shape. Cover still in shrink. US original at John Zorn's private label.

COLOSSEUM - VALENTYNE SUITE:
UK early 2nd pressing with large swirl label, but no "Philips Record Product" inside gatefold. With original swirl inner sleeve. Record has some light marks, nothing troublesome. Cover has light ring/edge/corne wear. Their first album with "Elegy" - killer folky tune and "Butty's blues" - great jazz rock.

Groundbreaking fusion album from 1970 - check "Miles Runs The Voodoo Down". Records in fine shape, glossy with a few light marks only. Cover has three rather big tears on front plus genereal edge wear . UK original, CBS 66236 with orange labels.

"Please give me one more chance", "Anyone can tell" and "Mr heartache" fantastic 60s soul. LP in very nice shape. Small mark causes a few very soft ticks on A3. Cover has some average wear and a small drill hole. US stereo original.

UK later pressing from 1969, correctly aligned apple on back cover. No "Her Majesty" credit. YEX-749-2/750-1 stamped in dead wax. Record has a few minor marks. Stunning 1974 soundtrack by Piccioni with vocals by Edda Dell'Orso and Catherine Howe! Was first released on Easy Tempo in 2000, this 2020 issue adds 12 previously unreleased tracks. A mix of funky prog jazz and mellow, lush instrumental scores, listen to "Inventions", "It's Possible Again" and "New Ways To Live". No shrink on this copy (unlike website photo) but still very nice and clean.

Funk LP from 1974 with plenty of hard beats and basslines. Check "Kiburi" and the laidback "Pipeline". Record is very close to mint. Cover in tight shrink with one small corner bump and 3-4 cm split on bottom right. Beautiful copy! US original on Pride.

ICE CUBE - AMERIKKKA'S MOST WANTED / KILL AT WILL:
Classic album from 1990 with the title track, "The n---a ya love to hate" etc. This release also includes the "Kill at will" EP as a bonus. Vinyl is generally VG+, but a tiny scratch on A-side causes a couple of pops and a brief skip. 2xLP reissue from 2003 with better sound quality than the single LP. No shrink on this copy, unlike photo.

Challenging stuff from the electronic luminary. Instrumental soundscapes that could well be sample material for open-minded producers. Listen to "Pastoral" and "Espressivo". Record has light marks, plays well. Cover has heavy ringwear, creasing, small tear on front. This is the original silver cover issue from 1969. Cover has slight wear to opening edge, a couple of small worn spots on top seam plus a tiny drill hole. Orchestral jazz album with versions of evergreens like "Over The Rainbow".

Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab audiophile US reissue from 2025, pressed on 180 grams. Fine records, very close to NM save for some ultra thin hairlines. Tough fusion sound featuring Azar Lawrence, Michael Henderson, James Mtume and Reggie Lucas. Recorded live in 1974. Listen to "Dark Magus - Nne".

O'JAYS - BACK ON TOP / STEREO:
Their third album, from 1968. Lovely LP including their uptempo hit "I dig your act" & the heavenly sweet soul classic "Look over your shoulder". LP has few and minor marks, nothing bad. Cover has a little shelf wear, a few small spots, tiny edge nick on back. Two absolutely minimal splits. Small drill hole through cover and label. US stereo original, Bell 6014.
