Mostly unissued 70s soul recordings with a sparse sound, not too far from Dorando. Listen to "Lay Your Head". Also includes their modern soul biggie "What It Takes To Live". Later pressing with hype sticker instead of obi.
Great LP recorded in 1961 with Zoot Sims & Tommy Flanagan. Listen to "Largo". Just light signs of storage on record, plays with very minor hiss from from pressing, not bad at all. Cover shows some sun fading along spine. Later US pressing, black/white labels with Starday-King distribution.
Treasure Isle-LP including ska classics as the killer "Silver Dollar", "Dr. Decker", "Occupation" and 9 more! Later but still early JA (70s?) pressing with black/white Treasure Isle-labels, S.E. Pottinger-production credit on side 2 label.
First Dutch pressing on Fontana, 858 117 FPY/STL 5514, released a few years after the US original on ESP-Disk. Record has light storage marks and a slight dish warp not affecting play. Cover in fine shape with just some light creasing. Deep avantgarde jazz from 1965. Listen to "The Cosmos".
His first LP including "Please, please, please" and "Tell me what I did wrong". Nice VG+ vinyl, few and light marks. Cover has a few small brown spots. First UK mono pressing from 1964 (US original is from 1958), HA-8231 with purple deep groove labels and glossy front cover.
Later US 70 pressing with 290 West End Ave.-address on label, 180 Riverside Drive-address on back cover. Record has a few minor marks not affecting play and a pressing bubble causing a few hardly noticeble thumps at the end of side B. Cover has basic ring/shelf wear and mild bend top right corner. Great free/experimental jazz from 1966 with Bennie Maupin, Ronnie Boykins & Rashied Ali a.o., listen to "Capricorn Moon".
Canadian later pressing on pink/grey marbled vinyl. Comes with insert. Clean record. Cover has light wear. Their classic album from 1967.
Classic free jazz album from 1965 with Milford Graves, John Tchicai, Roswell Rudd and Lewis Worrell plus poetry from LeRoi Jones. Cover has some shelf wear and humidity spotting front and back. First Japanese pressing, SMJ-7421, released a few years after the US original from 1965. No obi or insert.
Great compilation of ska sides by Don Drummond & the Skatalites - "Ringo", "Confucious" and "The Reburial" are all killer eastern sounding tunes and as good as ska gets! Fine copy in shrink. Later US 80s pressing with red/yellow labels.

Loud and raw garage rock/freakbeat on their third album, listen to the stompin' killer "I Can Only Give You Everything". Great copy. UK later mono pressing with red label, boxed Decca logo.
US mono pressing, BLP 4185 with New York USA-labels, Van Gelder in dead wax but no ear = later US mono pressing from mid 60s. No deep groove. Marks, lines and scuffing on record, plays decent with minor surface noise. Cover has shelf wear, one creased/bent corner plus light scratching on front. Very strong jazz LP featuring Joe Henderson, listen to "Calcutta Cutie" and the classic title track.

Soundtrack to the big Von Trier movie from 2000. Check "New world". Record has some light scuffs, nothing bad. Cover has small nick at opening, creasing. UK later pressing, with printed inner sleeve.
Massive Wailers classic from 1973 with timeless tunes as "Concrete Jungle" and "Stir It Up". Record has light sleeve marks and a minor edge chip not affecting play. Cover has two small stickers + small piece of clear tape on front. Later Japanese pressing from 1982, 20S-81 with combined obi/insert.
US stereo pressing, AS-9155 with red/black A Product of ABC Records-labels (no year) and separated logo boxes = 3rd US pressing from ca 1971. Record in fine shape, cover has minor corner bumps only. LP from 1967 with Alan Silva and Beaver Harris. Check the powerful "Truth Is Marching In" and "For John Coltrane".
R&b/doo wop from 1957, listen to "At my front door". LP is nice shape, close to EX. Cover has a little corner wear, grades low VG+ due to 6 cm split on top seam and a minimal split on bottom. Third US mono pressing from the early 60s, rainbow band and Vee Jay logo in oval. Original inner sleeve has some edge splitting.
Deep, trippy Sun Ra live set from 1970, including my favourite "Enlightment"! Later UK pressing on Recommended Records, this is the version with blue/gold cover. Record in fine shape, cover is pretty strong VG with some smudge/residue and tiny worn spots/tear dots on front.
US mono pressing, BLP 1502 with 47 West 63rd NYC-address on labels and "R" on labels = later pressing from ca 1959 (of album first released in 1956). Deep groove on side 2 only, RVG and ear in dead wax. Minor marks and scuffs on record, plays ok save for some ticks here and there. Minor print smudging on labels, neat writing on side 2 label. Cover has some wear/fraying on edges, 3 cm split on bottom seam center, rub wear plus writing and sticker remains on back. Early Miles recordings with Horace Silver, Art Blakey, Jay Jay Johnson and Percy Heath. Includes "Take Off", "Weirdo" and more great tunes.
LP from 2011 that's now very sought-after. Listen to "Darkness" and "Enemies With Benefits". Later pressing from 2022 (grey, oxblood and black splatter vinyl issue).
Later (but still early) US mono pressing from mid-to-late 60s, black/white cover, white labels with black print, 156 5th Avenue address on labels and cover. Deep groove on A-side only, ear in dead wax on both sides, Bell Sound-stamp in dead wax on B-side. Nice and clean copy! Legendary free jazz album from the visionary Ayler with Gary Peacock and Sunny Murray. Listen to the deep "Ghosts: First Variation".

Early 3rd German pressing with pink Saba-labels without tree logo. Early Saba-title featuring the groups of Wolfgang Dauner and Hans Koller, check the versions of "It Ain't Necessarily So" and "Cubano Chant". Record in top shape, looks unplayed. Cover has really light ring/shelf wear on the lamination, looks very nice overall.
Cape jazz rarity from 1962 with Dudu Pukwana and Makaya Ntshoko in the band. Listen to "Chopi Chopsticks" and "Isintu". Record looks more or less unplayed. Promo stamp on side 1 label. Cover has mild aging plus a promo stamp on front. Later Zimbabwean pressing from 1991.
Classic feverish rockabilly, stuff that made the Cramps! Light scuffs/marks on record, plays very well with minor distractions. US later styrene pressing from the 1970s, no mention of "1973" in dead wax.

US mono pressing, BLP 1518 with 47 West 63rd NYC-address on labels (no "R") = early (4th?) pressing from ca 1958 (of 1956 original). Deep groove on both sides, RVG and ear in dead wax. Record has a 3 mm scratch causing some light ticks at the end of B1 but in fine shape apart from that. Cover has minor edge wear and 3 cm split bottom seam right. LP with Kenny Dorham, Hank Mobley, Art Blakey & Doug Watkins. Great stuff throughout, listen to "Room 608"!
