Very rare 1980 album with killer modern soul on "I'm so glad I found your love" and bubbly funk on "Money's funny". Japanese reissue with obi. New from the distributor, but cover has a few cm slight damage on bottom edge.
US stereo original, PLP 801-S with yellow labels. Light sleeve marks on record, plays with some background noise/crackle, most likely from pressing. Cover shows light wear and small splits on top and bottom seam at opening. Cecil Payne does CP compositions with the help of Duke Jordan, Clark Terry, Charles Persip & Ron Carter. Cover has some wear and two splits on top seam (5+5 cm), 7 cm split on bottom seam center, small piece of clear tape lower right plus mild water damage/staining along top seam back. US original with 463 West Street-address on back cover.

Great, tough jazz set with Archie Shepp from 1960, listen to "E.B." and the version of "Lazy Afternoon". Small mark causes some ticks on B1, rest looks and plays alright. 180 gram reissue from 2023, remastered from the original tapes.

1957 split LP recorded at Newport Jazz Festival. Listen to "Nona's Blues" by Cecil Taylor Quartet (featuring Steve Lacy). I believe this is the first Japanese pressing, possibly released mid-to-late 60s (of 1957 US original). MI-1071 in flipback cover. No obi or insert.
Quartet setting with Abbey Lincoln guesting on a few tunes. Listen to "On the trail". Cover has lamination peel-off on back, old shop sticker on front (not in photo). French original.
1984 album from the mother of Bob Marley, produced by Aston "Family Man" Barrett. Listen to "Stay Alive". Vinyl is a little pale, plays with slight hiss from pressing (not very bad). Cover in shrink with slight aging/yellowing under the shrink plus a couple of lightly bent/creased corners. JA original, this is the Tuff Gong issue (was also released on 56 Hope Road).
Soul/boogie from 1984 with the dancefloor cuts "Time for some fun" & "You've said enough". US original.
"Give me love" and the 10 min epic "Supernature" big disco classics. No custom sticker on cover, unlike photo. European original.
Old-timey jazz from 1980 with Ronnie Jackson and Tullio De Piscopo. Italian original in fine shape.
LP from 1984 with a big hit in the title tune. Sticker on back cover and A-side label. Canadian original with printed inner sleeve.
"I know you, I live you", "We got each other" and the title track are killer soul/disco classics, plus "Fate" that was used by Stardust for "Music sounds better with you". No shrink on cover (unlike photo), small sticker on front and back. US original with printed inner (partly split).
"Stories" sleazy funk classic and "Soledad" a great jazzy groover! Pretty rare album that turns up much less than "Jungle fever". Record only has a few light marks n.a.p. Cover in shrink with a drill hole. US original.
Belgium original with red vinyl.

Soul/funk/rock from 1968 including the funky "Do your thing" and a version of "I wish it would rain". Vinyl has a few ligth scuffs and a tiny mark, plays fine. Cover has minor shelf wear. US stereo original.

Great jazz classic from 1959 featuring Jackie McLean, Booker Ervin & Mal Waldron. Listen to "Tensions". Record is scuffy, plays ok with minor distractions and some odd light ticks only. 180 gram reissue.
Mingus recorded 1978 featuring Lee Konitz, Larry Coryell, Dannie Richmond, Steve Gadd etc. Check "Three worlds of drums". Cover has light wear and a few minor stains. US original, with printed inner sleeve (has some splits).
Live recording with Roland Kirk, Charles McPherson and Hamiet Bluiett. Two long tracks, check "C jam blues". Fine VG+ copy, no major issues at all. US original with red/green labels and 75 Rockefeller address, no WEA logo.
Live recording from 1964 with Charles McPherson, Jaki Byard, Dannie Richmond etc. Listen to the beautiful "Orange Was The Color Of Her Dress, Then Blue Silk". Cover graded VG due to some water damage (staining and humidity spotting) inside gatefold. Seal Of Approval-sticker on front cover. First Japanese pressing from 1971, LR-8111-12 (of LP first released in the US in 1965). No insert or obi.
