Wonderful soukous album by Congolese band. Sparse, pretty raw sound and lovely guitar work, just check the 2nd parts of "Bolingo Clemence" and "Maria Na Lembi". Record in fine shape, cover has light ring wear, some minor creases around edges plus discrete price tag residue mark on front. French original.
Driving electro/house from 2007 - listen to "Lava lava". A few small marks only causing light noise for 2-3 rounds on A1. German original with insert.

UK original, POLS 003. Shiny record with a couple of light scuffs only. Cover has light ringwear, one mild corner bump. "When Will The Rain Come" - great moody tune!

Record is glossy with a few surface marks only, cover very clean save for light bend/crease lower right. Strong set with an impressive line-up. Listen to "Tenor Conclave".
Album from 1985 including the tough synth funker "Yankee doodle" by Spacelab and the soulful "Black and blue" by Paris Bizarre. Swedish-only original in nice shape.
Lovely album that's recommended if you want sweet 60s soul in the same style as the early Impressions stuff. Check the awesome "Follow your heart" and "I'm the one that love forgot"! A few light marks and hairlines on record, plays well with a tiny bit of pressing related surface noise. Cover has one minor corner bend plus two lightly bumped corner, looks nice overall. US mono original, CMLP -201 with red labels/black print.
"Silver child" - psychedelic rock/funk with a break to die for! Record has some light scuffs, nothing bad at all. Gatefold cover has just light corner/ring wear. Japanese original, with lyrics inner sleeve (small split + clear tape). No obi or bonus 7".

US mono pressing, PRLP 7138 with yellow/black labels, Bergenfield-address, deep groove on both sides and RVG in dead wax = early 2nd US pressing. Just some light sleeve marks on record, plays alright. Cover has some rubbing, minor wear to corners and edges, 10 cm split + clear tape top seam right plus a name and year written on back. 1958 Prestige-album featuring Ray Bryant on piano, including a nice version of "April in Paris".
LP from 1963 with Herbie Hancock and Billy Higgins. Listen to "Joshua Fit De Battle Ob Jericho". Japanese reissue from 1979, GXK 8117 with insert but no obi.
Private press vocal jazz/soul LP recorded live in Chicago with a standout track in the funky "The Guy Next Door". Also check "Simple Life" and the ballads "You've Changed" and "You're Gonna Hear From Me". Record only has some soft marks and minor signs of storage, plays a bit noisy from pressing. Cover has 60% split on top seam right, 25% split bottom seam right, some fraying to opening edge (mainly on back) plus minor price tag remains on front. US original.
Danish mono original, MLP 15072. Record is glossy with some minor marks, plays very well with just a few light ticks end of A2/beginning of A3. Laminated flipback cover in fine shape save for a minor bump/nick on lower part of opening and a touch of ring wear. Very rare straight jazz LP with Jan Johansson. Listen to the version of Mingus' "Haitian Fight Song" and Horace Silver's "Blowin' The Blues Away" plus the lovely "Thursday's Theme".

LP from 1967 with Alan Silva and Beaver Harris. Check the powerful "Truth Is Marching In" and "For John Coltrane".
US original, PRST 7561 with blue/silver labels and trident on top. Van Gelder in dead wax. Record appears unplayed, cover has soft shelf wear and mild sun fading on top seam and spine. LP from 1968 with Wally Richardson and Joanne Brackeen. Listen to the eastern-influenced title track or the orchestral "Pet Sounds".
Shadow in 2011 with a mix of hip hop, instrumental beats and rock. Check "Stay The Course" (feat. Talib Kweli & Posdnous) and "Enemy Lines". EU original, lovely copy in shrink with hype sticker!
UK stereo original, PCS 7027 with YEX-637-1/638-1 stampers. "Sold in U.K..." text and "The Gramophone Co..." text. With original inner sleeve but no insert. Record has light scuffs and marks, plays well with just minor distractions. Cover has light general wear, small tear on front (not in photo). Classic album, listen to the title track or "A day in the life" for a good start.
US original, unipak cover with printed inner sleeves. No postcards. Records in fine shape with some light surface marks. Cover has light corner/edge wear. One of their better 70s efforts, listen to "Rocks off".

US mono original, A-94 with orange/black ABC-Paramount label and Van Gelder in dead wax. Just few and light marks on record, still glossy and plays well. Small library sticker on side 1 label. Cover grades VG- due to large clear tape around seam, also a small library sticker on front. Split LP with recordings from Newport Jazz Festival 1965. Listen to Coltrane's "One down, one up" or the freer "Call me by my rightful name" by Shepp.
"She's A Love Maker" and "Flim Flam" raw and great funk tunes and "Let's Talk It Over" a gritty deep soul track! Old reissue (from late 90s), very similar to the original press, with heavy cardboard paste-on cover. This is the issue with one circle on labels. Record close to EX with some light sleeve marks only, cover still in shrink with very minor wear to corners.
UK 2nd pressing with large swirl label, but no "Philips Record Product" inside gatefold. Record has some light marks, nothing troublesome. Small stamp on label side B. Cover has light wear, neat writing + indentation mark on back. The first LP with "Elegy" - killer folky tune and "Butty's blues" - great jazz rock.
"Lifesaver" jazzy boogie instrumental with big Balearic appeal! Fans of Toto-esque AOR should also check the AOR groover "From now on". Scarce Iceland-only original from 1981.
R&b/doo wop from 1957, listen to "At my front door". LP is nice shape, close to EX. Cover has a little corner wear, grades low VG+ due to 6 cm split on top seam and a minimal split on bottom. Third US mono pressing from the early 60s, rainbow band and Vee Jay logo in oval. Original inner sleeve has some edge splitting.

Certainly one of Pharoah Sanders' best albums with lovely, melancholic and very beautiful spiritual jazz on "Harvest Time" and "Love Will Find A Way". His rarest LP, originally released on India Navigation in 1977. 2023 reissue in box cover with embossed print on front, containing 1 bonus LP with two excellent live versions of "Harvest Time" plus a 24 page booklet!
US original, orange and blue vinyls, printed inner sleeves. Including poster and 3D-glasses. Records in fine shape with a few light marks not affecting play. Cover has 5 cm top split, one mild corner bump. More psych/art/prog/math rock from Omar Rodriguez-Lopez & co. Listen to "The Malkin Jewel".
Deep, trippy Sun Ra live set from 1970, including my favourite "Enlightment"! Later UK pressing on Recommended Records, this is the version with blue/gold cover. Record in fine shape, cover is pretty strong VG with some smudge/residue and tiny worn spots/tear dots on front.

2LP from 1992. Records in great shape. Cover has light ring/edge wear, creasing, 1,5 cm tear at opening. European original, with poster.
The Japanese disco-lite/city pop master on a compilation from 1986 - listen to the smooth groover "Love talkin'". Cover has two minor stickers on front and some tape remains on back. Japanese original with obi (with small tear and some tape on back) and insert.
Strong 2019 album by producer Jesus Montez a.k.a. VHS, with guest rappers like Hus Kingpin, Lil' Eto, Adonis and Rome Streetz. Check "Pesos" and "Sicarios". US original, very limited release hand-numbered 64/100 on the back.
US stereo original, AS-9178 with red/black labels and ABC Records-print (no year) and non-separated logos. Clean record, cover has just minimal wear to corners and spine, looks great overall. Powerful free jazz from the legendary Ornette Coleman. Listen to "C.O.D.".

Lovely LP from 1959 featuring Paul Motian and Scott LaFaro. Listen to "Come Rain Or Come Shine" and "Spring Is Here". Clean record, cover has one creased corner and very mild humidity spottting on back but no ring wear (unlike website photo). Japanese reissue from 1976, SMJ-6144 with insert (a bit stained) but no obi.
Rare early 60s soul with lush orchestral arrangements and a Sam Cooke-like style. "Hold me" and "Wonderful love" are the best tunes for me. LP in nice shape except for a 0,5 cm mark causing clicks on A1. Cover in torn shrink with a punch hole and slight wear to corners. Small part of B-side label is missing due to manufacturing error (doesn't look bad at all). US stereo original.
UK original with textured cover, rounded corners, "The Gramophone co." rim text, A-1/B-1 matrix numbers. Record close to EX. Cover has light wear, tiny sticker mark on front, small scratch mark back at bottom. Moody experimental prog at its finest, listen to "Obscured by clouds" or "When you're in".

Cover is a slightly lower VG+ with 4 cm split/fraying on spine center, edge wear and light creases plus faint/discrete sticker marks and stamp on front. Norwegian original on Polydor.

Progressive jazz/fusion LP from 1972 with Eero Koivistoinen, Juhani Aaltonen and Bertil Löfgren. Check "The Pawn" and the deep "The Death". Record is strong VG+ with soft sleeve marks, cover shows light wear/aging only. Finnish original. This copy comes with a promo sheet (in Finnish).
