Ayler recorded live in France 1970 doing versions of his classic "Spirits", "Spirits Rejoice" and more. No punch hole on cover on this copy (unlike website photo). Early 2nd French pressing with "D.R." but catalogue number 83 503 on labels.
Funk/afro/soul instrumentals with a cinematic atmosphere. Listen to "Adeniji" and "Chicago falcon". 2nd pressing, this copy has a hype sticker on the shrink.
LP with Johnny Hodges and Som Woodyard. Nice jazz on "The jeep is jumpin". Record is strong VG+ with a few light marks. Cover has minor staining and a little lamination bubbling. Early 2nd US mono pressing with orange/black ABC-Paramount labels and Van Gelder in dead wax.
"Who Will Buy?" killer jazzy soul tune. Clean record, cover has ring wear, minor corner wear/bends plus a tiny sawcut (on top seam on this copy). US 2nd issue (from circa 1977) with black cover.

Cover looks nice too, just a minor corner bump and a neat stamp on back. Piano trio LP from 1959 featuring Alvin Jackson and Richard Allen. Listen to "Pushing The Blues".
The Kinks debut album from 1964, with the classic "You really got me". Record has a couple of light marks, not affecting play. UK 2nd pressing in the Golden Guinea series.
"Flight Time" soulful jazz/fusion classic at this lovely solid album. Record has lots of light marks and scuffs but plays well with minor distractions only. Cover has ring wear on front. Backside cover has 3,4 cm tear towards the opening. Seams has small splits. Blue label with black B = early 2nd US issue from the mid 70s.

2018 live set from this prolific UK jazz act. If you liked their previous releases this is a safe bet - check "Sunflower" and "Long Way Home". 2nd pressing with printed and unnumbered labels (1st pressing was very limited and quickly sold out).
Scandinavian first pressing from 1967 with different title of "The Real Folk Blues" LP from 1966. Record has a couple of light marks, nothing bad. Previous owners name & phone number neatly etched in deadwax side A. Cover has light wear, minimal writing on back.
1966 blues with Johnny Young, Johnny Shines and Big Walter Horton. Listen to "Kid man blues". Great copy. US early 2nd pressing, "Stereolab" on labels.
Early 2nd US stereo pressing, PRST 7382 with blue/silver labels and trident on top. Van Gelder in dead wax. Cover has 12 cm split top seam right, 8 + 2 cm split bottom seam right, sticker remains on back. Album from 1966 with previously unreleased live and studio performances, check the powerful "Status Seeking".

Lower seam has huge split repaired with transparent tape. Grant in 1972 with groovy funk/jazz versions of "In The Middle" and "I Don't Want Nobody...".

Cover has edge wear, cut corner and split at spine which has been repaired with transparent tape. "Your Love Is Just Too Much" great funky jazz used in hip hop. "Put On Rrain" big, bad break tune.
Great jazz as usual when it comes to this superb musician. My favorite is "Bosna calling". With Tete Montoliu. Clean record. Cover has light ringwear, faint sticker mark on back. Spanish 2nd pressing.

German mono pressing, UA 69 012 = later issue from 1962, first released in the US as "Jazz portraits" in 1959.

Spiritual jazz from Shabaka Hutchings, Tumi Mogorosi & co. Transcendental tenor sax and Rhodes, great vocals and just the right amount of it. Listen to "Joyous" and "Natty". 2nd pressing with "Guy's Electric" in dead wax.
Scarce Danish jazz EP from 1958 featuring three tracks backed by Erik Moseholm and Ole Molin. Listen to "Trekanten". Light marks and scuffs, generally plays ok with mild background crackle except for a few passages of short but loud sizzling noise in the intro of side B. Pic sleeve has minor wear to edges plus basic wear and aging, nothing very bad. Early 2nd Danish pressing, MEP 1188 with white/green/purple labels (1st pressing has black labels).
"The Ghetto 74" and "Ella Weez" great 70s soul! Cover has partial edge wear. Early 2nd US pressing with 810 7th Ave-address on labels, includes lyric insert.
US 2nd pressing, BST 84283 with blue/black Liberty/UA labels. Van Gelder in dead wax. Clean record, cover looks fine in shrink . Great jazz set from 1968 featuring Richard Williams and Bobby Few Jr. "Tyra" is my favorite.
US stereo pressing, BST 84349 with blue/black Liberty/UA labels = early 2nd US pressing. Van Gelder in dead wax. Record with plenty of marks and scarthes but plays way better than it looks with only minor distractions. Cover has rather heavy ring wear on front. Duke Pearson-produced album from 1970 with the deep "Essence" and funky jazz on "The dude".

Record has scuffs and storage marks, nothing serious and plays well. Cover has old sticker front, upper left corner. Minor paper loss towards the opening on front. Backside cover has three small stains. 1 cm split at the lower seam otherwise spine and seams are fine. LP featuring Blue Mitchell, Junior Cook, Gene Taylor & Roy Brooks. Contains the great "The Gringo"!

Funky fusion LP with standouts in the Brazilian-tinged "Sunflower" and the tough "Funky finger". Record in lovely shape with minor hairlines only. Cover has cutout hole and tiny wear lower right corner, otherwise looks lovely in shrink. US 2nd issue with blue label with black B, came out same year 1973 as the first issue.
1968 blues rock with Dave Edmunds heavy shredding. Two top tunes in "Blues helping" and their take on "Summertime". Great copy. UK early 2nd pressing, no KT tax code on labels.
Early 2nd US pressing, SD 8236 with Broadway address on label. Record has some light surface marks, nothing bad. Cover has light corner/edge wear. Classic rock album including "Whole lotta love".
Wicked soulful album with impressive guests as Kendrick Lamar, Raekwon, Erykah Badu, Talib Kweli and Phonte. The whole album is nice, but especially check the bomb "Never stopped loving you". 2nd issue from 2024.

UK 2nd stereo pressing from 1969 with unboxed Decca-logo on label, indicator hole on back cover. Record close to EX. Cover has some lamination lifting along spine, small writing on back. Classic blues rock from 1967 with Peter Green and Aynsley Dunbar. Listen to "A hard road" or ""Another kinda love".
Their debut album from 1991 with r&b/new jack swing hits like "Uhh Ahh" and "Motownphilly". Early 2nd European issue with different cover art, also including the radio smash "End of the road" that's not on the first version.

A bonus is also a dedication from Bobby Hutcherson on front cover. LP with Harold Land, Joe Sample, Mickey Roker etc. Great set with "Prints Tie" as my favorite".
Classic funk LP from 1974. Check the title track. Nice copy without cuts (unlike photo). Very early 2nd US pressing, NBLP 7002 with shorter (3:29) version of "Testify".

BLUE NOTE - USA 2nd Pressing

US mono 2nd issue, BLP 4090 with New York USA-labels. Van Gelder and ear in dead wax, but no deep groove on this copy. This issue came out same year as first issue 1961. Record has surface marks but not to bad, plays loud and clear. It's not far from our strict VG+ grading. Front cover looks nice but has some rub wear under the title on front. Back cover has small stains and a few tiny dots upper left corner. Lower seam and spine is fine. Upper seam has minor wear but is intact Another great Jazz Messengers-album with Freddie Hubbard, Curtis Fuller and Wayne Shorter. Listen to "Children Of The Night" and "Crisis".
US mono pressing, BLP 1504 with 47 West 63rd NYC-address on labels (no "R") = early 2nd pressing. Deep groove on both sides, RVG and ear in dead wax. Plenty of minor marks and scuffs on record, plays quite well with mild background crackle only. Cover has edge wear, mild rub wear, sticker tear on front (filled out with black marker pen) plus faint marking around tracklisting on back. Classic LP with George Duvivier, Tommy Potter, Arthur Taylor and Roy Haynes. Listen to the beautiful version of "You Go To My Head" and "Ornithology".
Latin album from 1965 with great vibe allover and one of these records that you enjoy listening althrough. "Rica combinacion" is superb however. Record has scuffs nad marks but not to bad, plays fine but occasional soft background noise can be heard. Cover looks great in shrink but has right corners a bit worn with lower seam having a small split. US 2nd issue from 1970 with cloud label of gold label from 1965.
US stereo pressing, AS-9131 with orange/black ABC-Paramount-label on side 1 and A Product of ABC Records-label on side 2 = early 2nd transitional pressing. Cover has slight wear to opening edge, a couple of small worn spots on top seam plus a tiny drill hole. Orchestral jazz album with versions of evergreens like "Over The Rainbow".
