Absolutely fantastic mellow jazz LP - check "I Wish I Knew" and "All Or Nothing At All", but the whole album is a pleasure and still gets frequent spins in the store. Cover has mild humidity spotting inside gatefold. Japanese reissue from 1973, IMP-88096. With insert but no obi.

Danish mono original, Atlantic 1311 with orange/purple bulls-eye labels, comes in beautiful flipback cover. Record has light marks, plays ok with occasional soft background noise. Cover has clear tape on spine and top/bottom seam, small tear on front. True jazz classic from 1959 with "Naima" and "Giant steps".

US mono pressing, A-42 with orange/black Abc Paramount Inc label. US pressing from 1965 (of 1963 original). Record with some light scuffs, affect play slighly at intro of "India". Glossy cover has minor wear primarly inside the foldout. Fantastic Coltrane LP with the mighty "Impressions" and "India".

Debut album by Ethiopian saxophonist/composer and Mulatu Astatke-protege Jorga Mesfin - deep and meditative Ethio jazz with a spiritual vibe, warmly recommended if this is your bag! Listen to "Longing" and "Tizita". Comes in beautiful tip-on sleeve and with liner notes insert.

KEITH SWEAT - MAKE IT LAST FOREVER:
Groundbreaking album when it came out in 1987 as it was produced by Teddy Riley and alongside Guy's debut album brought swingbeat to the world. My picks are the soft soul tunes "Make it last forever" and "In the rain". US original.

KENNY DORHAM - AFRO-CUBAN:
US mono pressing, BLP 1535 with Lexington-address on labels and cover but vinyl has beaded rim and not flat edge = very early 2nd pressing. Deep groove on both sides, RVG and ear in dead wax. No frame on front cover, blank spine. Record has some light sleeve marks and scuffs, nothing deep and plays well with minor distractions only. Cover has full split and some fraying on top seam, slight wear on bottom seam and spine, shelf wear and small worn spots front and back, staining on back, minor wear and a few tiny rips on opening edge plus stamp on back. Classic Blue Note indemander with the brilliant 50s jazz track "Afrodisia" but the whole album is nice!

LEE KONITZ - VERY COOL:
Top notch cool jazz with Don Ferrara, Sal Mosca, Peter Ind and Shadow Wilson. Wonderful listening from start to finish, start with the opening track "Sunflower". Japanese reissue from 1991, MGV-8209. With insert but no obi.

OPTIMISTICS - SAME:
Rare and superb 1970 soul set. The crossover dancer "Say it baby" and the sweet soul ballad "Should I let myself go" are outstanding. If you like Whatnauts and things like that, you can't go far wrong here. Japanese reissue from 1990, with printed inner sleeve, without obi. Cover has some edge wear and faint humidity staining on back. The printed inner is a bit stained.

PER TEXAS JOHANSSON - ALLA MINA KOMPISAR:
His tour de force debut from 1998, here released on vinyl for the very first time with four previously unreleased tracks. A very strong set from start to finish - begin with "Tunnelseende", "Parkförvaltningen" and the version of Coltrane's "After The Rain". With Fredrik Ljungkvist, Dan Berglund and Mikel Ulfberg plus Johan Lindström on some tracks.
