BARNEY KESSEL - KESSEL'S KIT:
The American master guitarist backed by Italian library hot-shots Giovanni Tommaso and Enzo Restuccia plus two fourths of I Marc 4 (Antonello Vannucchi and Carlo Pes). My favourites are the drowsy "Lison" and the equally dazed, Armando Trovajoli-penned "Malibu", great tracks that wouldn't be out of place on Piero Umiliani's awesome "Paesaggi". Record looks shiny and clean with just minor sleeve scuffs, plays great. Clean cover. Italian original, LISP 34013.

EJE THELIN QUINTET - SO FAR:
Superb 60's jazz, much wanted and for good reason. Highlights for me are "It could happen to you" and "So far". Record has plenty of scuffs & marks but not deep and plays alright with a few scattered, light distractions. Cover looks fine & glossy, just minor wrinkles to the edges. Swedish original with black Columbia label and blue logo.

MANFRED BURZLAFF QUARTET FEATURING GLORIA STEWARD - JAZZ FOR DANCING:
Classy vocal jazz set from 1965. Includes a killer, club-friendly version of "One note samba"! LP has lot of marks and scrathes but primarly soft one's and it plays ok even though occasional soft background noise can be heard. Cover has minor edge wear plus a bit lamination peeling lower right corner. Switzerland original, SO LPS 283 with black labels.

CHARLIE HADEN / PAUL MOTIAN FEAT. GERI ALLEN - ETUDES:
Sought-after trio LP from 1988, check the intense "Lonely woman". Record has pretty much scuffs and marks but only light one's and it plays fine with almost none affect at all. Cover in shrink. Italian-only original in beautiful condition.

Trio album from 2016. Records and cover in fine shape. German original.

BOSSE WÄRMELL - MAJ 1962:
Beautiful album recorded in 1962 but unreleased until 1984. With top musicians as Bosse Skoglund, Lars Sjösten, Rolf Ericson etc. Listen to the lovely version of "Nica's Dream"! Light sleeve marks on record, plays ok with minor distractions only. Cover has tiny 1 cm tear towards the opening edge. Swedish only original.

AL CALLAGAN / COMPLESSO JOSEPH MONTZEL - SWINGING FIVE / GAROTA DE BAHIA:
"Swinging Five" lovely 5/4 Euro jazz track - swinging indeed! "Garota De Bahia" is a mellow and loungy bossa jazz track. Clean vinyl, pic sleeve shows very light creasing/aging only. Minor edge warp not affecting play. Italian only original.

ROBERT MALMBERG - LINNEA:
Lovely piano trio LP with Leroy Lowe on drums and Olle Steinholtz on bass. This turns up fairly seldom. Listen to "You, moon & the sea" and "Samba for my friends". The sound on this LP is spectacular. Record in fine shape. Cover has some edge wear plus small name sticker on back. Swedish original.

BÖRJE FREDRIKSSON - SAME:
Great straight jazz LP that was released just after his suicide in 1968. Listen to "Blues for Bass". Record is nice VG+ with light sleeve scuffs, cover has ring wear on front (as this title almost always has). Swedish only original.

E.S.T. - SEVEN DAYS OF FALLING:
Beautiful trio album with the lovely, sad "Ballad For The Unborn". Records has minor sign of being played, plays fine. Cover looks great with minor edge wear. German first vinyl release but cd's came some years before.

GUIDO MANUSARDI TRIO - BLUE TRAIN:
Scarce Swedish album by this Italian pianist together with Sture Nordin and Al Heath. Listen to the wonderful "Arriving Soon". Record in very nice shape. Cover is low VG+ due to ring wear. Swedish original.

JOHN SURMAN / JOHN WARREN - TALES OF THE ALGONQUIN:
Great UK jazz from 1971 with Alan Skidmore and John Taylor! Check "The purple swan" and "We'll make it". Record looks great (close to NM), cover has tiny tear upper left corner on front otherwise fine. Both labels has some discoloation dots. UK stereo original, SML 1094.

BERNT ROSENGREN - NOTES FROM UNDERGROUND / SIGNED BY ARTIST:
Jazz LP with Bertil Strandberg, Okay Temiz, Tommy Koverhult etc. Listen to "Gerda", awesome spiritual jazz tune. Also try "Theme from piano concerto". Record has light sleeve scuffs and one scratch at side d not affecting play. Cover is beautiful and has signing by Bernt himself on front. Swedish original.

MONICA ZETTERLUND - AHH! MONICA:
Swedish original, 08211 PL with Minigroove labels (non-Minigroove label is early 2nd). Light scuffs/marks on record, plays fine. Cover has light wear and signs of use only. The Queen of Swedish jazz vocalists on her second LP from 1962. Includes the classic "Sakta Vi Gå Genom Stan" plus great versions of "Baltimore Oriole" (Säg Några Vackra Ord") and "Dat Dere" ("Va' E' De' Där").

MARK MURPHY - MIDNIGHT MOOD:
German original, SB 15 151 ST with pink Saba labels. Record is beautiful EX or even NM except for one tiny scratch at B1 that clicks two times. Cover is fine but has some minor damage at lower right corner on front. Classic vocal jazz LP, by far his rarest, including "Sconsolato" & "Jump for joy". Top line-up with Kenny Clarke, Francy Boland, Sahib Shihab etc.

EJE THELIN - AT THE GERMAN JAZZ FESTIVAL:
Rare and superb album from 1964. Just pure quality from start to end, listen to "The Opener". Record has some surface marks, visually extremely strong VG or weak VG+. It plays fine with occasional soft ticks. Cover has light wear to corners and edges, close to VG+ grade. German original, MLP 15158 with black labels.

SANTUCCI-SCOPPA-MONTEDORO / DUSKO GOYKOVICH - JAM SESSION / SUMMERTIME:
Ultra rare one-sided Italian RAI transcription LP featuring a wonderful version of "Summertime" by Dusko Goykovich plus a TV jam session with Cicci Santucci, Enzo Scoppa, Antonello Vannucchi, Gegè Munari plus Gianfranca Montedoro on vocals on the second half. Vinyl in great shape, shiny and black, just some light sleeve marks on the blank (non-playable) side. Comes in generic white plain sleeve with RAI stamp on front (lightly aged and with a discrete stain spot on front). Italian only original.

Swedish original, Philips 08222 PL with light blue labels and small deep groove. Record has some surface lines primarly at side ". It plays fine in genereal but occasional light background noise can be heard. Cover looks lovely. Outstanding vocal jazz LP that's a true classic with "Come rain or shine".

OLLI AHVENLAHTI - BANDSTAND:
Brilliant Finnish modal/fusion LP including the jazz dance/fusion classic "Countence", "Cadenza for Christina" and the meditative "Breeze". Features top musicians as Bernt Rosengren, Pekka Sarmanto & Esko Rosnell. Record in fine shape, with a few spindle lines only. Cover has minor ring wear and lightly creased corners, looks nice overall. It was many years since my last copy of this hard to find title. Finnish original.

MICHAEL GARRICK SEPTET - BLACK MARIGOLDS:
UK mono original, DA 88 with yellow deep groove labels. Record only has a little superficial wear, plays well. Cover is strong VG, has a minimal tear on front plus tiny pen mark and small damage on back. UK jazz from 1966 with Ian Carr, Don Rendell and Joe Harriott, including the fantastic "Ursula".

COUNT BASIE ORCHESTRA - HIGH VOLTAGE:
Big band LP from 1970 with Cecil Payne, Eddie "Lockjaw" Davis and Joe Newman in the setting. Cover shows some lamination peeling, minimal pressure stamp on front, sticker mark inside gatefold. German 2nd pressing on MPS/BASF.

Scarce Danish jazz EP from 1958 featuring three tracks backed by Erik Moseholm and Ole Molin. Listen to "Trekanten". Light marks and scuffs, generally plays ok with mild background crackle except for a few passages of short but loud sizzling noise in the intro of side B. Pic sleeve has minor wear to edges plus basic wear and aging, nothing very bad. Early 2nd Danish pressing, MEP 1188 with white/green/purple labels (1st pressing has black labels).
