Another scarce Karel Krautgartner-conducted big band library album from Austrian broadcasting company ORF, featuring Art Farmer, Karl Drewo and Fritz Pauer in the band - listen to "Malibu". Light sleeve marks on record, still glossy and plays alright. Cover is strong VG with mild ring wear and creasing, a couple of small rips on opening edge plus a few tiny sticker tears on front. KENNY DORHAM SEPTET - BLUE SPRING / MONO:
US mono original with blue label, mic & reel logo, RLP 12-297 has deep groove. Record is shiny and beautiful but has some softer spindle wear, plays fine except some ticks first minute of B3. Also a few ticks at A1 first part. Cover is fine front and back but upper seam is very torn and with 5 cm split. Lower seam and spine is worn as well. "Spring is here" is beautiful.
