CHARLIE PARKER & ARNE DOMNERUS - IN SWEDEN:
Rare LP from a live performance in 1950 (this is the Malmö concert, not the Helsingborg one as on the Sonet album). Swedish original, Oktav 164. This first issue was only pressed in a couple of hundred copies. Listen to "Anthropology". Record has some surface marks and is a bit fluttery from manufacture, plays decent with some surface hiss and a little background crackle (it's not the very best recording or pressing to begin with). Laminated cover has some creasing, lamination peeling and edge wear.

Swedish avantgarde LP mixing poetry, speeches and sound effects. Lars-Gunnar Bodin was part of the Fylkingen crew and this reminds me a bit of Åke Hodell's work. UK original, LTZ-P15094 with red/silver labels and flipback cover. Was also released on Imperial in the US around the same time. Record has some marks and a few feelable scratches, plays with a bit of crackle and clicks but not too bad, still quite enjoyable. Cover shows some lamination flaking along opening, no issues apart from that. Rare 50s jazz with Sonny Clark and Larry Bunker. Nice versions of "Love for sale" and "Night and day".

US original, UJLP 1206 with red/yellow deep groove labels. Record has a few deep scrathes that affect play with clicks but most of the part plays and looks fine. Cover has transparent tape at seams and spine. Lower left corner a bit bent and some discoloration on back from the old tape. Improvisation album inspired by paintings of Edward Jarvis. Record has a few soft sleeve scuffs but is in fine shape. Massive booklet looks great. LP cover still in shrink, outer has tiny wear at edges. Greece original, limited pressing of 500 copies.

UK stereo original, S 63551 with front-laminated cover. Record is lovely EX grade except for one small scratch end of A2 that clicks lightly a few times. Cover has minor lamination peeling front and transparent tape at upper seam 15, harly noticeable and looks nice. Stereo sticker on back. Great Miles album, this one recorded in 1968 with Wayne Shorter, Herbie Hancock, Ron Carter and Tony Williams. Listen to "Filles De Kilimanjaro".
