DOLLAR BRAND - AFRICA TEARS AND LAUGHTER:
Spiritual jazz sound from Dollar Brand in 1979 with John Betsch on drums. "Tsakve" is short but very nice, check that and the deep, 13 minute "Ishmael". "Imam" is more in the funky fusion field. Cover has basic wear and creasing plus 4-5 cm split/fraying top seam center. Later German pressing with TLS-distribution on back cover.

Record has a few small feelable scratches on side 1 causing occassional clicks, also some soft sleeve marks but rest plays ok with minor disctractions only. Cover looks ok on front with just minor wear to opening side, grades VG due to a fairly discrete stain mark plus small initials written on back. Really strong Blue Note set featuring Jackie McLean and Duke Pearson - listen to the stunning "Fuego" and "Lament"!
