Cover in partial shrink but no hype sticker on this copy, small saw cut on bottom seam (unlike website photo). US issue from 1978, two years after the Japanese original.
Very fine orchestrated psych from 1968. First German issue from the year after. Pic sleeve has ring wear, writing on back.
"Memphis B-K" hard instrumental funk. Record has surface wear but plays decent. Cover has ring wear and worn edges. Top seam is about 80% split, bottom has 6 cm split (both taped). Early 2nd US pressing with multicolor logo on black labels. Promo copy.
Big band LP from 1970 with Cecil Payne, Eddie "Lockjaw" Davis and Joe Newman in the setting. Cover shows some lamination peeling, minimal pressure stamp on front, sticker mark inside gatefold. German 2nd pressing on MPS/BASF.

Record has pretty much sleeve scuffs but not to bad and it plays fine. The glossy foldout cover has minor lamination peeling on front. Wonderful soft jazz LP including the stunning version of "In A Sentimental Mood" and "Take The Coltrane".
Later (but still early) US mono pressing from mid-to-late 60s, black/white cover, white labels with black print, 156 5th Avenue address on labels and cover. Deep groove on A-side only, ear in dead wax on both sides, Bell Sound-stamp in dead wax on B-side. Nice and clean copy! Legendary free jazz album from the visionary Ayler with Gary Peacock and Sunny Murray. Listen to the deep "Ghosts: First Variation".

US mono pressing, BLP 1502 with 47 West 63rd NYC-address on labels and "R" on labels = later pressing from ca 1959 (of album first released in 1956). Deep groove on side 2 only, RVG and ear in dead wax. Minor marks and scuffs on record, plays ok save for some ticks here and there. Minor print smudging on labels, neat writing on side 2 label. Cover has some wear/fraying on edges, 3 cm split on bottom seam center, rub wear plus writing and sticker remains on back. Early Miles recordings with Horace Silver, Art Blakey, Jay Jay Johnson and Percy Heath. Includes "Take Off", "Weirdo" and more great tunes.
Early but later US pressing from 1954 two years after the first issue. BLP 5003 with Lexington address on labels. Flat edge and deep groove on both sides but no ear in dead wax and back cover lists record numbers up to BLP 5057 indicating second generation record and cover. Very nice record with hardly any wear. Tiny occasional background noise at soft parts probably a bit from the pressing. Cover in fine shape with light corner wear. Classic Blue Note 10" with Fats Navarro, Sonny Rollins, Tommy Potter, Curly Russell, Max Roach and Roy Haynes. Listen to the beautiful version of "You Go To My Head" and "Ornithology".
US mono pressing, A-42 with orange/black Abc Paramount Inc label. US pressing from 1965 (of 1963 original). Record with some light scuffs, affect play slighly at intro of "India". Glossy cover has minor wear primarly inside the foldout. Fantastic Coltrane LP with the mighty "Impressions" and "India".
R&b/doo wop from 1957, listen to "At my front door". LP is nice shape, close to EX. Cover has a little corner wear, grades low VG+ due to 6 cm split on top seam and a minimal split on bottom. Third US mono pressing from the early 60s, rainbow band and Vee Jay logo in oval. Original inner sleeve has some edge splitting.

LP from 1967 with Alan Silva and Beaver Harris. Check the powerful "Truth Is Marching In" and "For John Coltrane".
Loud and raw garage rock/freakbeat on their third album, listen to the stompin' killer "I Can Only Give You Everything". Great copy. UK later mono pressing with red label, boxed Decca logo.

Deep, trippy Sun Ra live set from 1970, including my favourite "Enlightment"! Later UK pressing on Recommended Records, this is the version with blue/gold cover. Record in fine shape, cover is pretty strong VG with some smudge/residue and tiny worn spots/tear dots on front.

Small writing label side A. Cover has light ring/corner wear, small writing on back. Classic moment in blues rock history, with "All your love" and a nice version of Ray Charles "What'd I say".

This is a later but still early issue from circa 1961. Record with light surface lines but nothing major. Cover looks fine on front but spine and seams has paper loss. Backside cover has two stamps at white area glued on. Also a couple of sticker remainings on back. One small stain at label 1 from removed sticker. Much loved LP from 1956. Listen to the fantastic "Let's cool one"!

Jazz album from 1961 with Herbie Hancock, Pepper Adams and Billy Higgins. Listen to "Shangri-la". Record in fine shape with light scuffs only. Cover has writings on front upper left corner. Cut corner to the right.Worn lower seam plus slightly worn edges. Later US pressing (from 1977), blue label with black B.

Experimental LP from 1967 by Frank Zappa and the Mothers. Listen to "The duke of prunes" and "Son of Suzy Creamcheese". Clean record. Cover has light wear, creasing. UK later pressing from 1972, with cat no 2317 035.
Rare Italian LP with these two jazz luminaries together with Daniel Humair, Martial Solal and Henri Texier. Listen to the version of Kenny Dorham's "Blue Bossa" or "Watch What Happens", but this LP stands up all through. Cover has 3 cm split top seam right, humidity spotting and aging inside gatefold plus some general shelf wear. I believe this is the first Japanese pressing, FOX-7008, most likely released just a few years or so after the Italian original. No obi or insert.
The current rage of Italian disco/fusion, with a lovely sound throughout. Listen to "Nuova Napoli", "Disco Sole" or the Mr. Business-cover "Parev' Ajere". Later pressing run with The Carvery credit on back cover.
Highly acclaimed spiritual/avantgarde jazz album from 2019. Deep, conscious vibe all over this, listen to "Impepho". Later pressing, black vinyl.

Chilean psych/folk with a very interesting sound. Make sure to check "Corre Que Te Pillo" and the trippy 9 min long "Los Caminos Que Se Abren". Record has light marks, plays well with some background noise. Cover has ringwear, creasing. Chilean later pressing of their 2nd self titled album from 1972.
LP from 1980 with classics like "Killing an arab". Record in fine shape with some minor marks. Cover has small tear on back, sticker mark/residue on front (not in photo). UK later pressing from 1983.

Free jazz recorded in Paris in 1969 with Sam Rivers, Andrew Cyrille and Jimmy Lyons. First released in France as "Nuits De La Fondation Maeght", this is a later (1977) US release on Prestige. Records have a few minor marks and a small pressing defect on side 3, I can just hear a few light ticks. Box cover has full split on spine (so that front part is separed from rear part) plus some rub/shelf wear.
Highly recommended release from the mysterious Sven Wunder - hard-hitting, eastern flavoured psych funk/jazz with a cinematic/library-ish vibe. Check "Lotus", "Tulip" and "Magnolia". Later pressing with Swedish Arts Council-credit on back cover.
Wunder travels further east to the land of the rising sun for a musical exploration of the concept of Wabi Sabi, skillfully fusing European library and soundtrack sounds with traditional Japanese and East Oriental music and aesthetics. A wonderful listen through both sides, listen to "Hot Winds Arrive", "Hanami" and "Blanket Fog Descends". Later pressing with Swedish Arts Council-credit on back cover.
