Rare LP from a live performance in 1950 (this is the Malmö concert, not the Helsingborg one as on the Sonet album). Swedish original, Oktav 164. This first issue was only pressed in a couple of hundred copies. Listen to "Anthropology". Record has some surface marks and is a bit fluttery from manufacture, plays decent with some surface hiss and a little background crackle (it's not the very best recording or pressing to begin with). Laminated cover has some creasing, lamination peeling and edge wear.
One of my favourite 70s soul LPs! Every track is a Leroy Hutson-produced killer. "Love's so wonderful", "Count on me", "What's happening here" and the list goes on. Cover in shrink with a tiny sawcut. US original.
