60s jazz with Wilbur Ware, Paul Jeffrey, Dennis O'Tootle plus Charles' 7 year old son Codaryl Moffett on drums! Contains the powerful "Yelrihs" and a couple of meditative tunes. Japanese reissue from 1991, KIJJ 2049 with insert but no obi.

UK original with textured cover, rounded corners, "The Gramophone co." rim text, A-1/B-1 matrix numbers. Record has light marks, plays well with some background noise and occasional soft clicks. Cover has light corner/edge wear. Moody experimental prog at its finest, listen to "Obscured by clouds" or "When you're in".

UK original, export version, with unboxed Decca-logo, ZAL -7752-1W/ZAL-7753-1W matrix. Record has light marks, plays well with some background noise occasionally. Deeper mark causing some clicks on B1. Front laminated cover has light wear, small sticker mark on back, a few tiny stains on front (not in photo). Compilation from 1967 with "Ruby tuesday" and "Mother's little helper" among others.
Rare 50s jazz with Sonny Clark and Larry Bunker. Nice versions of "Love for sale" and "Night and day". Cover has a few minimal humidity spots and small piece of clear tape on back. Japanese reissue from 1983, K18P-9255, mono pressing. With insert but no obi.

Cover has basic shelf wear + saw cut on lower seam. US original, red/green labels with 1841 Broadway-address.
His debut album on Blue Note, a beautiful jazz set with Tina Brooks, McCoy Tyner etc. Listen to "Open Sesame". 180 gram reissue from 2019.

Free jazz recorded in Paris in 1969 with Sam Rivers, Andrew Cyrille and Jimmy Lyons. First released in France as "Nuits De La Fondation Maeght", this is a later (1977) US release on Prestige. Records have a few minor marks and a small pressing defect on side 3, I can just hear a few light ticks. Box cover has full split on spine (so that front part is separed from rear part) plus some rub/shelf wear.
Great compilation with six sides of jazz, fusion and funk jazz on the deep and spiritual side of things, carefully selected by If Music's Jean-Claude Thompson. Check Beaver Harris 360 Degree Music Experience "Aladdin's Carpet", Stafford James Ensemble "Impressions" and Copa Salvo "Hasta La Victria Siempre".

Classic Stax album from 1966. Contains the huge hit "Hold on", but my main interest here is the stunning ballad "Just me". Record is generally VG+ but has a 7 mm scratch on B4 and a 3 mm scratch on A4 causing clicks. US stereo original with yellow labels.
US stereo original, Pacific Jazz ST-20127. 1967 big band album with Kenny Barron, Charles Tolliver and Bennie Green among others, listen to "L.A. After Dark".
Muddy 1950s blues with the tough "The sun is shining". Fine copy with little wear. US original.
1969 album with the pounding "Santa Claus" and "Little Village". Record has a few light scuffs and storage wear, plays fine. Cover has light wear and is slightly wavy. US original.
Wunder travels further east to the land of the rising sun for a musical exploration of the concept of Wabi Sabi, skillfully fusing European library and soundtrack sounds with traditional Japanese and East Oriental music and aesthetics. A wonderful listen through both sides, listen to "Hot Winds Arrive", "Hanami" and "Blanket Fog Descends". Later pressing with Swedish Arts Council-credit on back cover.
Top vocal jazz album, one of the best on the Black Jazz label. Especially check the versions of "Maiden voyage" and "See you later". 2020 reissue.
