Cover has 12 cm split top seam right, 6 cm split bottom seam right, initials written neatly on back plus light shelf wear. Jazz from 1957 with Mose Allison, Teddy Kotick and Nick Stabulas.
US stereo original, SD 1416 with blue/green labels and black fan with vertical Atlantic-logo. A few minor marks on record, plays alright save for some odd light ticks. Cover has minor wear top seam left + a name written on back. Late 50s/early 60s material, first released on this album in 1965. Listen to "Tonight At Noon".

LP from 1955, but the recordings were made in 1945-46. Listen to "One bass hit". Cover has clear tape + partial splits on top and bottom seam at opening. Later US pressing with maroon label (from late 60s/early 70s).
1964 sessions with Prince Lasha, Clifford Jordan, Bobby Hutcherson etc., first released in 1968 on the Douglas label. Interesting album ranging from free jazz influences to more spiritual sounds, listen to "Mandrake". 2nd US pressing from early 70s, KZ 30873.

Early 2nd US mono pressing with different cover from the first release, PRLP 7249 with yellow Bergenfield labels, deep groove and RVG in dead wax. Record is glossy with a few surface marks only, cover very clean save for light bend/crease lower right. Strong set with an impressive line-up. Listen to "Tenor Conclave".
US original, Mod-LP-105 with deep groove labels. Minor marks and scuffs on record, plays ok with minor background crackle. Cover looks ok on front but grades VG due to large ball pen writing on back, also light wear, small stain mark and promo stamps on back. Piano trio from 1957 with Red Mitchell and Mel Lewis. Listen to "The Facts About Max".
2nd US mono pressing, CL 1812 with 2 eye logo and "Guaranteed High Fidelity" in black print. Marks and lines on record, plays with minor background crackle, not too bad. Cover has some wear plus slight water damage on top part (mainly visible on back). Gil Evans-arranged LP recorded live in 1961 with Hank Mobley, featuring a great version of "So What".
Later German 60s pressing with different cover than the US original from 1957. Cover has some corner and edge wear. Top line-up featuring Milt Jackson, Horace Silver, Kenny Clarke, Sonny Rollins etc. Check "Bags Groove (take 1)".
2nd UK mono pressing from circa 1960, Capitol T 762 with black rainbow band labels and front-laminated flipback cover with the original cover art (unlike some later pressings). Fine VG+ copy, just light signs of use and aging. Big jazz classic from 1956 that still sounds superb! Listen to "Deception" or "Boplicity".
US mono pressing, PRLP 7168 with yellow/black labels, Bergenfield-address, deep groove on both sides and RVG in dead wax = later but still early pressing of album first released as "Miles Davis And Horns" (PRLP 7025). Light marks and scuffs on record, plays with a little background crackle but not too bad. Cover has 12 + 2 cm split on bottom seam, 4 cm split on top seam right, some edge wear, old shop sticker on back. 1951-1953 recordings with Sonny Rollins, Zoot Sims, John Lewis and Al Cohn. Listen to "For Adults Only".
UK stereo original, SBPG 62510 with textured orange labels and flipback cover. Fint VG+ copy, no major issues. Great quintet session with Hancock, Williams, Carter & Coleman, including classics like "All Blues".
2nd Japanese pressing from 1960, SL-1012 in flipback cover with different cover art than the US original. No obi or insert. Record has some light sleeve marks, nothing deep but plays with mild background noise. Cover has basic wear/aging plus small damage on lower flipback. Wonderful jazz classic with John Coltrane, Paul Chambers, Red Garland and Philly Joe Jones. A real pleasure to hear, including my favorite "Bye Bye Blackbird".
US mono original, PRLP 7003 with yellow/black labels, 446 W. 50th ST. NYC-address, deep groove on both sides and RVG in dead wax. Record has some marks and scuffs, plays with a little background crackle but not too bad. Also a minor pressing defect at the end of side B causing a slight flutter at the very end of B3. Cover has ring/rub wear, 13 cm split top seam right, 4 cm split bottom seam right, large split/crack on top part of spine and left part of top seam. Laidback mid 50s jazz with Horace Silver, Percy Heath and Connie Kay. Listen to "Moonray".

Record has one long, lightly feelable scratch line on side B but I can't hear more than a few light ticks. Apart from that just some surface marks and plays alright. Cover looks ok on front, has some rubbing, mild staining along spine and a fairly small tear on back. Two classic jazz outfits on a mid 50s album including a version of "Buhaina".
