Funk compilation featuring top classics as Robert Moore's "Everything's gonna be alright", Lee Shot Williams' "Our thing is through" and Matata's "I feel funky". Record has some surface marks, low end of VG+ but plays fine. Cover has 2 cm edge peeling and a small price tag on front (not on photo). Labels have the wrong tracklisting.

Early Kent compilation of early-to-mid-60s girl group material. Lots of songs with a naive charm, the early Motown sound-a-like "We'll start the party again" by Bernadette Peters and Sapphires' "Let's break up for a while" are my picks.
Another great Mingus LP, this time from 1962. Listen to "Dizzy moods". Reissue. No shrink on this copy (unlike website photo).

ALIVE AND WELL IN PARIS
ODEON / TOSHIBA - Japan Reissue
LP · VG+/VG+ · 180 SEK
Album from 1968 with an absolutely lovely version of "Stolen Moments" and a storming cover of "Freedom Jazz Dance". Japanese reissue from the early 70s, OP-8866, no obi or insert.
"Black Land Of The Nile" deep vocal jazz masterpiece. More good stuff on the LP too, not so far away from some of the more soulful material on Tribe. Reissue of rare private-pressed album.
