The title track is a a soulful disco evergreen, plus you get the uptempo stormer "You got me dancing"! Cover has some ring wear, creased corners and 5 cm split in the middle of bottom edge. Swedish original.
US stereo pressing, BST 84102 with New York USA-labels, Van Gelder but no ear in dead wax = early 2nd pressing. Sleeve marks and scuffs on record, plays alright. Instrumental versions of Motown classics on this LP from 1965. "Baby love", "Come see about me", "Baby I need your loving" etc. Cover has light shelf/rub wear. US original, MT 620 with map label and deep groove.
Electro LP from 1987. "Subway" is a dancefloor rocker with a wider appeal. Also check the Kraftwerk-borrowing "Bass Overdrive". Small piece of paper in vinyl causes some clicks on B3, also a couple of feelable scratches causing some ticks on A1 and A2. Cover has bend and some wear on lower right corner plus basic shelf wear. US original.
US mono original, V-8661 with black/silver T logo labels with deep groove. Cover has a pressure stamp on back but no punch hole (unlike website photo). "Sidewinder" in an instant, catchy version that works great in clubs.
LP from 1980 with Ron Carter, Charlie Haden, Billy Higgins and Hank Jones a.o., listen to "Straight No Chaser" and "Blues For Blanche". Faint sticker mark on front cover. US original, with booklet.

Classic free jazz/experimental live album from 1972 with Chick Corea, Anthony Braxton, Dave Holland and Barry Altschul. Listen to "No Greater Love". Cover has saw cut on lower seam. US 2nd pressing, manufactured and distributed by Warner Bros.
US original, MG 36059 with blue/silver drummer labels with deep groove. Cover has lamination peeling/problems on front, partial splits on top seam, stamp on back. Drill hole through cover and label. Mid 50s recordings also released on Swedish EPs, listen to the lovely "Late Summer".
Compilation with cover versions of James Brown tunes from Dillard Crume, Bernard Purdie, Chollo Rivera, Daktaris, St Vincent Latinaires etc. Nice variations to these tried and tested funk monsters! Includes printed inner sleeves.
LP from 1971 with the heavy funk/soul groove "Go up Moses" plus the slowie "Sunday and Sister Jones". US original with Broadway address.
Italian trio jazz LP recorded in 1966 with Franco D'Andrea and Franco Tonani. Listen to "Interplay", "We Mean The Blues" or the freer "What's Happening". Reissue.
Stax classic from 1966. Contains the huge hit "Hold on", but my main interest here is the stunning ballad "Just me". LP has plenty of marks but no deep scratches, plays ok. Cover has 5+3 cm splits on bottom and 6 cm split on top seam. Writing and a few minor stains on upper back. US stereo original with yellow labels.
1958 album with a fantastic line-up including Nat Adderley, Johnny Griffin, Tommy Flanagan, Jimmy Garrison and Julian Priester. Check the pacey "Tune up". US OJC reissue.
Album from 1969 with both mellow acoustic folky tracks and uptempo bits like the cool "Another Age". Record has a few light marks, nothing bad. Cover has some ringwear, tiny stain on front. UK original.

The pair LP to "Companionship" - quality 60s Euro jazz with the Clarke, Boland and Woode plus the Berlin String Band. Listen to "Lonely Girl" and "The Girl And The Turk". Marks and scuffs on record (a bit more on LP 2) but plays ok with minor distractions. Cover has a bit of wear on top seam, not very bad. German only original.

Dreamy psychedelic LP that really gets you in the right mood and harmony. Listen to "Wild mountain thyme" or "What's happening". The folk funky "Captain soul" is also worth mentioning. European later pressing.
Avantgarde album from 1977, "electronic music realization" as stated on cover. Check "Inre Monolog". Swedish original.

Unusual mix of fusion, jazz-funk and free jazz sax and weird synth sounds when Ornette meets the Prime Time band. It certainly sounds different. Listen to "Sex Spy". US original.
"Joy" killer soul/funk classic. One of his best! Cover has edge/corner wear and creased corners. US original on Enterprise, black labels and multicolor logo.

Avantgarde jazz recorded 1984 with Misha Mengelberg, Han Bennink and Michele Lomuto plus orchestra. Clean record, cover has just light storage wear and one minor corner bump. Italian only original.
"Let's get together" great sister funk/soul track. Record has very light hairlines and soft scuffing. Cover in partial shrink but no stereo-sticker (unlike website photo). US original.
Italian jazz LP from 1986 with David Liebman - nice mellow late night jazz no "Fate Fatue" and "Reflections". Italian only original, with insert.
Classic DJ album produced by Junjo Lawes, check "Natty Sat Upon The Rock". Record is a strong and well-playing VG. Cover has small split on spine center plus some ring and edge wear, not too bad. UK original.
Solo album from 1983 where Bobby Few sinss and plays the piano (Alan Silva and Muhammed Ali backs on one track), listen to "Music Is Like A Rhapsody". Cover has some lamination peeling at opening front and back. France original.
Live album from one of the greatest sweet soul groups of all time. Check "If I didn't care" and their funky version of "It's your thing"! This copy is in torn shrink with a little wear around corners, a creased corner and tiny stamp on back. US original on Stang.
1977 live album with a superb version of "Mr Magic"! US original.

Solo piano LP from 1977, listen to "Hourglass part I". Cover is a bit yellowed and has minor lamination flaking at opening back. German original.
Later US stereo pressing from mid 60s, PRST 7252 with blue/silver labels with trident on right (of LP first released in 1956 with different cover art). Record is shiny and clean overall but has a couple of small and light scratches that causes just a few light clicks. Cover has 5-6 cm split on top seam right, thin 8 cm split on top part of spine and mild shelf wear. Jazz LP with Al Cohn, Allen Eager and Brew Moore. Listen to "Five Brothers".
1975 live album with the beautiful "Exiles" and "Asbury park". Record has light scuffs, plays well with minor distractions. Cover has ring/corner wear, creasing, lamination loosening along spine. UK original with pink rim Island label.
Dutch original, 682 013 TL with unique cover art. This is the issue with NCB on labels. Some kind of bubbles/irregularities in vinyl cause occassional low level thumps, not very disturbing. Cover has basic wear/aging plus some lamination peeling on front. Beautiful album from 1957 arranged by Gil Evans. Listen to "Miles Ahead".

Album from 1968 with an absolutely lovely version of "Stolen Moments" and a storming cover of "Freedom Jazz Dance". Vinyl has a bit of shading/cloudiness on both sides, plays with a really light hiss in the silent parts, not noticeable once the music starts. Cover shows some ring wear and mild staining on back. Japanese reissue from the early 70s, OP-8866, no obi or insert.
"Round And Around" and "No No No" hardhitting funk jazz with massive drums. Some marks and scuffs on record (mainly on side 2), plays ok with just minor distractions. Cover has some shelf wear plus a sticker and a few small worn spots on back. German original.
Classic compilation from 1980 with Dead Kennedys, K.G.B, Mutants etc. Listen to "Straight A's". Nice copy with little wear. US original, with insert. This copy is not in shrink, as in photo.
