JOKI FREUND SEXTET - YOGI JAZZ:
Superb album and one of the true holy grails of European jazz. Listen to the version of McCoy Tyner's "Aisha" and the Coltrane-ish "Yogiana" but the whole album is great. LP in great shape but has one small but deep scratch at "Aisha" that clicks a few times. Deleted reissue of ultra rare German original, great sound and beautifully packaged in tri-fold cover (just as the original). Single LP but postage as for two records due to heavy tri-fold cover.

5xLP box set including a beautiful booklet with plenty of info and photos. Over 30 tracks - too many hot tunes to mention, but check Wellis Band "Bindiga", Ebo Taylor "Twer nyame" and The Big Beats "Mi nsumoo bo donn". Four LPs are in nice shape. LP3 has some marks and scratches, plays ok in general with clicks in parts. Box cover only has the slightest wear.

Amazing Lee Perry-produced album. "Fisherman" and "Congoman" are my favorites, but it's pure class from start to end. This reissue adds two bonus tracks ("At The Feast" and "Nicodemus") plus longer versions of some of the other tunes. Records in fine shape, cover shows light signs of use only. This is the Simply Vinyl-issue from 2000.

Very rare album recorded in 1968 in Estonia and originally released on 10" on the Melodiya label two years later. Pretty diverse sound ranging from modal and avantgarde to vocal jazz, listen to "Haapsalu Town" and "A Journey Into The Unknown". Limited reissue (500 copies) from 2014 of rare Melodiya original, with one bonus track. Still sealed copy, no sticker on this one (unlike website photo).
