Criminally underrated album! From 1968 and the first one with only his original compositions. Totally different from his earlier stuff. Quite a varied affair, ranging from subtle midtempo soul to mellow instrumentals and uptempo funk. "Oh your love" is a delicious piece of sweet/crossover soul, check that and the instro "Smiling & crying".
