Cover graded VG due to some water damage (staining and humidity spotting) inside gatefold. Seal Of Approval-sticker on front cover. First Japanese pressing from 1971, LR-8111-12 (of LP first released in the US in 1965). No insert or obi.

Gravel-voiced soul/funk on Daptone sub-label, recommended if you like Lee Fields and such. Listen to "The world (is going up in flames)" and "The telephone song". Later pressing, black vinyl.
US mono pressing, BLP 1533 with blue/white United Artists labels = later pressing from early 70s. Record has a lightly feelable scratch in the beginning of side 1 but I can't hear more than a few light ticks, just surface marks apart from that and plays very well in general. Cover has a distribution sticker on back + corner cut lower right. His first Blue Note album, recorded in 1956 together with Wynton Kelly, Max Roach and Curly Russell. Listen to "Chicago Calling".

Strong 1959 album with Benny Golson, Tommy Flanagan, Jimmy Garrison and Al Harewood. Listen to "Minor Vamp". Slightly lower VG+ vinyl visually with sleeve marks and lines but nothing deep and plays loud and clear. Cover has light wear + vintage price sticker on back. Later French mono pressing from mid-to-late 60s, with different cover art from the US release from 1959.
UK later pressing with boxed Decca-logo on label, indicator hole on back cover. No poster. Record has light marks, plays well with some sufrface noise in the softer parts. Cover has light general wear, sealing sticker, stamp on back. 1969 LP with the most excellent "Gimme shelter" and "Monkey man".
Chilean psych/folk with a very interesting sound. Make sure to check "Corre Que Te Pillo" and the trippy 9 min long "Los Caminos Que Se Abren". Record has light marks, plays well with some background noise. Cover has ringwear, creasing. Chilean later pressing of their 2nd self titled album from 1972.

Strong jazz album from 1968 with Joe Farrell, Woody Shaw, Steve Swallow and Joe Chambers. Check "Litha" or "This Is New". One long surface line on side 1, I can't hear more than some light ticks. Cover has some wear + 5 cm center split on spine. Later Japanese pressing from 1971, P-6010A with insert but no obi.
Later German 60s pressing with different cover than the US original from 1957. Cover has some corner and edge wear. Top line-up featuring Milt Jackson, Horace Silver, Kenny Clarke, Sonny Rollins etc. Check "Bags Groove (take 1)".

Free jazz recorded in Paris in 1969 with Sam Rivers, Andrew Cyrille and Jimmy Lyons. First released in France as "Nuits De La Fondation Maeght", this is a later (1977) US release on Prestige. Records have a few minor marks and a small pressing defect on side 3, I can just hear a few light ticks. Box cover has full split on spine (so that front part is separed from rear part) plus some rub/shelf wear.
Wunder travels further east to the land of the rising sun for a musical exploration of the concept of Wabi Sabi, skillfully fusing European library and soundtrack sounds with traditional Japanese and East Oriental music and aesthetics. A wonderful listen through both sides, listen to "Hot Winds Arrive", "Hanami" and "Blanket Fog Descends". Later pressing with Swedish Arts Council-credit on back cover.

First Japanese pressing, RANK-5012 with blue deep groove labels and flipback cover, released just a few years after the US original. No insert or obi. Small scratch mark causes a handful of pops in the intro of B1. Also many soft marks and scuffs, plays ok in general with minor distractions only. Cover in nice shape with light wear only. LP from 1957, top line-up featuring Milt Jackson, Horace Silver, Kenny Clarke, Sonny Rollins etc. Check "Bags Groove (take 1)".
US mono pressing, BLP 1509 with New York USA-labels, RVG and ear in dead wax, no deep groove = mid 60s pressing of 1956 original. Light marks and scuffs on record, plays ok with minor noise and odd light ticks only. Cover has some wear and creasing, minor dirtying plus a name written on back. 1956 album with a stellar line-up including Percy Heath, Kenny Clarke, Sahib Shihab, Art Blakey and Lou Donaldson. "Tahiti" is my favorite.

Rare Italian LP with these two jazz luminaries together with Daniel Humair, Martial Solal and Henri Texier. Listen to the version of Kenny Dorham's "Blue Bossa" or "Watch What Happens", but this LP stands up all through. Cover has 3 cm split top seam right, humidity spotting and aging inside gatefold plus some general shelf wear. I believe this is the first Japanese pressing, FOX-7008, most likely released just a few years or so after the Italian original. No obi or insert.
