BJÖRN ALKES KVARTETT - JAZZ I SVERIGE 1974:
LP from 1974 with Göran Strandberg, Gunnar Bergsten and Fredrik Noren. The whole album is quality jazz but my favorite is "Intakt" (version of the tune also done by Bertil Strandberg on his rare "Cirrus" LP). Swedish original, RIKS LP 72 with gatefold cover.

CANNONBALL ADDERLEY - SOMETHIN' ELSE / MONO:
US mono original, BLP 1595 with 47 West 63rd, NYC labels (no "R"). Deep groove on both sides, RVG and ear in dead wax. 47 West 63rd Street-address on back cover. Record generally is in nice shape and plays loud and clear but has a tiny mark causing a handful of light ticks on A1 and and small scratch causing 10 or so light ticks on B2. Cover looks nice on front and back with light rubbing only, grades VG due to 14 cm split on lower seam right plus a few small worn spots on edges. Superb Blue Note classic with Miles Davis, Hank Jones, Art Blakey & Sam Jones. Listen to "Somethin' Else" or "Autumn Leaves".

Record is a very nice and glossy VG+, just some light sleeve scuffs, plays loud and clear! Cover is a really nice VG+ too, just tiny wear to opening and minimal corner wear, looks great overall. Very convincing debut album by drummer Ousbäck featuring Jonas Kullhammar, Håkan Broström, Ludvig Berghe and Niklas Fernqvist. "Restaurang Wollmar" and "Inclinations" are both top notch, driving mid 60s-style hard bop (think Blue Note...), "Barnkalas" is a beautiful ballad, and the rest is very nice too! Warmly recommended! "Space Odyssey" amazing deep jazz/fusion track. "Glue Fingers" is great too. Very sought-after LP originally released in 1974 on the Tribe label - this is the late 70s issue on Belgrave's own private imprint Gem Eye. Record has some light marks and plays with minor crackle in the beginning of side 2, looks and plays great overall. Cover in top shape, still in shrink!
